Relative Truth is like a Relative Snow Cone. Either it is or isn’t.

What shall be said to a people who embrace every form of belief as if everything we hear and see were true?  Does all creation agree with you?  Does the Sun come up to shine on us, yet decide it will remain hidden?  Does the ground you walk on sometimes act more like a bird or flower?  Isn’t all creation against such beliefs?

God has created what is in it’s various forms.  Yet each form is specific to what it is.  You will call this fact into support for believing that all things are true in their own way.  But what God is showing you is that there is a singular truth.  Anything else that promotes itself as the singular truth is a lie.  Truth is not relative.

You can’t lump Jesus in with all the other false gods (though they are only the thoughts of men and no gods at all.).  He either is absolute or He is of no effect what-so-ever.  Satan has pulled a slick on the world.  He stopped killing us.  And now he’s found a way to destroy any hope of reaching the lost.

I testify that there is One God, not many.  His name is Jesus, for the Father in Heaven was pleased to elevate Him to that status.  What and who you believe will become a matter of life and death to you in a very short time.  Consider Jesus!

We Hold Dear What God Gives.

The announcer on a Christian radio station says: “Did you ever think we got this bad weather because there was no one down there to pray?”   I am speechless.  Isn’t it given to man to receive what God gives without complaint?  Isn’t it our lot to learn obedience through suffering as did our Lord?  And aren’t we built up by a sort of rough handling?  Leave a man to his own and he will become useless.  Let a man endure nothing and he will have nothing to offer.  Even many non-believers would not venture to say such things.

What is this new place the “men of God” speak?  What has the Church become?  Where is the boldness and power of the truth of Christ in His people?

STAND UP!  YOU ARE NOT WORMS WITH LEGS AND NO CAUSE!  If you belong to Him you have His authority to speak what is right and true.

The Plot.

There is a plot which has been since the fall of Adam and Eve.  Men have said to themselves, “Let us band together so that we will find solace in one another.  To the righteous this is a worthy plot.  It is good, before the Living God, that His people gather together to lift each other up.  And it is said that iron sharpens iron.  So this is good.

But to the wicked and rebellious this is a plot of undoing.  They gather together to bring each other solace in their sin and rebellion.  As mud mixes with mud they think they bring each other peace.   One thing they miss which will be a horrible time for them.  When God rises from His Throne to judge the world each man will stand alone before Him.  You will look for help from those who stood with you.  But they too will be alone before Him.  All men will give account of even every idle word they have spoken.  What will you do with the guilt you will carrry on that day?

We worship Jesus, The Righteousness of God.  Though there is great peace and hope in Him for those who surrender to His will, there is also great terror for those who ignore His Holy calling.  The words I am given to speak concerning this are often perceived as harsh.  But it is not I who will condemn anyone.  And I do not judge anyone.  The message is from old and will not pass away till He stands to judge.  “Repent or die.  For the Lord will not allow evil to enter eternity in peace”.

I speak these things with boldness.  I answer to He who is Life, as will all men.  I do not seek your friendship if in that friendship you desire to bring me away from Him.  I embrace the Lord of Glory with a fire and passion.  And it is to your advantage to do the same.

Stiff Upper Lip.

Stand down, you ole man, for you mess with our heads.  We were happy till you came along.

In no way will I step one step to the left!  I will sing of my Lord’s Glory and Fame!

Let the world sink to hell and embrace their own way.  Yet I, to His Throne, will ascend.

Eternity’s there and that without a care, I’ll part with you though bitter end.

Have all your sin and revel in shame.  It’s far better to be beaten to death.

Then to face the Lord God with a stiff upper lip.  While He takes our very last breath.

Your Throne Built of Dung.

Why do you bring this “Jesus” to me?  Why can’t you leave me alone?  I was doing just fine with these lies I hold tight.   And your words only tear at my bones.

I bring you great peace but the cost will be great.  You will stand before Him one day.  I bring you His word from the lips of a man, so that you won’t have to stand on your own.

He’s promised a day when all men will bow low.  And no lie can stop it from coming.  He urges us all to turn away from those lies.  And embrace our failing here.

Yet you shed great tears because you find in me no solace.  I pick at your peace without mercy.  You wiggle and squirm on your throne built of dung.  But the truth still rings in your ears.

Look how you slept, how you fitfully slept.  The message I bear is not tame.  You’ll feel so much better if you will humble yourself.  And accept His most Glorious Name.

By His Grace.
