Trinkets and bobbles

What is the greatest trinket the world has to offer? And what is its greatest Bobble?

The greatest trinket you can achieve on this world is to have power over others. With this power you get everything you want and they get nothing except what they need to serve you. And oh the millions who chase after this trinket.

And what is the greatest Bobble you can have on this earth? Why, it is nothing less than luxury. The whole world chases after these things.

In this age of deception and lies it is good to be reminded that the greatest in the kingdom of heaven will be the servant to all. And that if we are blessed with luxury it is wise to use it for the benefit of others.

I point these things out because the voice of the world is so loud and continuous today. May God grant us ears that we may hear the whisper midst the screaming and yelling for more.

Question; Answer if You Can.

I have been a wicked man from the early days of my youth up to this point.  Oh, I accepted the Lord a couple of decades ago.  But the wickedness does not leave, for I am weak in love for His ways.  I confess this openly so that I can ask the following question without seeming to boast of what I do not have.

I have heard said that the first heaven is the blue sky we witness every day and night.  The second heaven is said to be the vastness of the universe we find ourselves being test in.  And the third heaven is the place of God’s eternal ways.  Perhaps there is more.  Surely there is vastly more to understand than 1, 2, 3.

I consider the size of our blue sky.  Then I consider the vast, unsearchable room which is the universe.  If this sizing ratio holds even slightly true, the size of heaven is beyond any possible comparison.  What is the universe to the size of our sky?  Who can give it a number?  Then what is the size of God’s realm?  Who can explore its limits within 20 billion years?

Now here’s the reason for speaking of heaven.  If it’s so very vast, then there’s room for souls.  There’s more room for souls than the earth can produce in trillions of years.  If that’s so then why are so very few being saved?  This begs the question of “who are we”.  But that’s another subject.

I will now turn to what has provoked this post in the first place.  God alone is good.  Everything that is draws its measure of “goodness” directly from the Living God.  No good exists without Him and His approval.  Now, if a Christian thinks he is something he is immediately amiss.  For nothing he is comes from himself.  All things we own are directly given to us from the Lord Jesus, and this to the glory of the Father in Heaven.

With such a vast wealth of room, righteousness, mercy, and forgiveness, how is it that there are so very few of us here?  Let the wise among us answer this.  I assure you, I am entirely interested in the answer.  Please spread this around.  If we find the answer you know we’re looking for, it will mean many more souls for the Lord.  I refuse to believe that this is “as good as it gets”.  Not that my refusal will amount to anything if this is truly what we get from His Holy Hand for this present age.

If He added 5000 to their number in one day, how come there are less than 50,000 in America?  And don’t give me that lie that there are millions of Christians in America.  I won’t buy that.  Christian means “Christ like one”.  It does not mean one who has found a way to make men think he is something when he is obviously not.
