Talk to your child

The billboard says, ” talk to your child about alcohol”.  That’s simply a message from the world telling us to stop killing each other.  Is that really all we need;  talk to our children about the need to limit the effects of drinking?  “Look, son, I know you’re gonna get drunk.  Heck, I do it every day.  But I need to talk to you about how to put a cap on your drinking”.

With the Liberals in charge of America we see a lot of such things:  brush your teeth twice a day, go to college so you can get a good job, remember to have compassion, remember to remember you are special “yes we can”.

As irritating as it is to be constantly told what to do. Such foolish leadership has provoked me to make this post. So I guess it’s possible that they have offered me a good opportunity. Lest I appear on grateful, “Thank you”.

Why don’t they put these kind of things on billboards: don’t forget to tell your child about Jesus, in all that you do honor the name of God, or they could even put up various  quotes from the bible on billboards for us. But you won’t see such things done by the government.  This is an unholy age.  How can I expect to witness holy words from satan’s minions?

What we are seeing in all these things is the religion of man without God. What should this tell us about the direction of America is currently headed?  By the way, it has been headed this way for a very long time.  This is just the last few gasps of air before death.

The Most

What’s that mean, “The Most”?  The most daring?  The most alluring?  The most powerful?  The shiniest?  The longest?  The quickest?  The most.  Define it any way you can.  But there is a “MOST” that will escape our ability to define.

Jesus is the Son of The Most High God.  What’s that mean?  It means He’s the MOST.  “Well”, some might say, “He is the Son, there is still the Living God above Him”.  I would respond that such words show a distinct lack of understanding regarding the Love of God for His Holy Son, and the nature of God.  And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”  God isn’t just “ok” with Jesus.  He has given everything over to His Son.

Those who hate the Son, hate the Father as well.  Those who lack a relationship with the Father will not have one with the Son either.  There is no separation between the Father and the Son.  Why is this important?  Because, curiously enough, the world speaks of marvelous things and calls them “most”.   But you’ll never hear the world speak of Jesus in those terms.  God speaks of “MOST” and refers to His Son.

I know what this does to other religions.  I know what these words mean to all other views of religions.  There is one religion, one most, one salvation, one Father, one Jesus, one Holy Spirit, one body of believers marked out by the Lord Himself, and one salvation.  I don’t say this to gain anything.  I say this because God, the Father, has said so Himself.

I can’t possibly care what you think of me for saying so.  Go hammer that out with God the Father.  Right about now, there’d be a fight on the school play ground.  But you can’t fight the Lord of Life.  You’re not even close to His “Play Ground” yet.  And frankly, when you get there, there won’t be an ounce of fight left in you.  But there is sure to be “weeping and gnashing of teeth”.

By His Grace.
