“Trust us”, they say.

“We know what’s best for you”.

Just when and how have you proven that’s true?

“Eat what is right and obey all our laws.

Long life will be yours if you’ll just join our cause”.

What’s “best” in your head is headed to dust.

The body is fine and it gets the job done.

But God and the flesh can never be one.
