One minute a man is playing tennis.  Inside of 2 minutes he is no longer here.  His body  lays there.  But the man himself is somewhere else.

She went to bed last night but did not wake up here.

We talked a lot about death and the judgment to come.  But there is a limit to what our words are able to accomplish.  At some point the mind and imagination of the listener is required.

With that said, let your mind envision earth filled with people.  Every man woman and child busy doing what they’re doing.

Without warning the sky cracks and the glory of God appears.  This time he has not come to redeem his people.  This time he has brought that fire that will consume the entire universe.

Every single one of the people on earth at that moment will instantaneously appear before the throne of God.  Without preparation judgment is rendered.  No excuses asked for, none taken.

We talked about death and everyone says,  “Oh yeah I’ll die someday.  But who can fathom the completion of your life?  No second chances.  No opportunity to repair the wrong.

It will happen to every individual one of us.  But announced, it will also fall on the earth.  One by one, or millions at once, I ask you to let it sink in.

It looms before all of us.  No one brings tools against it.  It stands for million trenched at the place called ” no farther”.

Only you are able to make yourself understand.  You’re the only one who can cause you to believe.  And only when we believe is there any reason to look for Jesus.
