Dear uncle Sam:

I did not want to write this letter.  After all the good times we’ve had together, these are hard words to write.

I spoke loving words to you about the Holy God who made us both.  But you didn’t share my excitement.  You turned your face everytime I began to mention Jesus.

I am not ashamed to tell you that I’ve been looking for a partner to share the Love of God with.  And I’ve found that India, Indonesia, Africa,  and quite a few other countries love Him far more than you.  They are not ashamed to speak of Him.  In fact, they challenge one another to love Him more and more.

You, on the other hand consider The Holy One of Israel an insulting topic.

I didn’t want to come to this conclusion.  I tried to spur you on to better things, but you would have none of it.  I wish you the best in the coming judgment.   May The Living God retain His Holy patience for you.  And may you open your ears, eyes, mind and heart to His words.
