How come?

You asked and he appeared.  The jailer was pushed aside.  The lock and door swung open .  The chains around your feet and hands evaporated.  And the guide was provided to stand near you.

So why are you still here?  Either you did not want to be free, and you enjoy the vulgarity of your present company.  Or you do not believe that freedom is possible.

The test

“Look at me I’m an odd duck you gotta love me!”  ‘Naah”, came the reply.  “I can see you got something to do with Jesus.  Someone said you even told them you love Him.  You get rid of him and we’ll talk”.

Silence for about 2 minutes.

“Hey look at me I’m weird and I love it.  See you later alligator!”

Weird, aint it.

I really try hard to keep my “weird” wrapped up in words, but it just keeps leaking out.  It must have something to do with the shapes of letters and the necessity of spaces.  Not much is said with “________”.  But less would leak out.

Beware the “gospel” of the world.  They say that peace among men is what is best.  They throw away wisdom for the sake of their peace.  They would have us be as harmless as doves and as stupid as rocks.

What does God say?  “Be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves”.

Trying to stamp out sin in this world is like trying to lower the tide using a water glass.  But does that mean we shouldn’t try?

And what should we say if we find it we ourselves are sinners?  Does that mean we have no right to speak?

We strive with all our might that we may save even one.  Even if the one we save is us.

I’m curious to see who knows.  Where did womens makeup originate,  and what was its original intent?

We could ask the same about sports cars and gold necklaces but I think they developed much later.  And though the intent maybe similar,  the actual outcome differs greatly.
