Better?

All over, the media is portraying the Christmas joy, the Christmas season, the Christmas sale, the Christmas Christmas.  And on and on it goes.

With all the hype have we gotten any better?  Have we become more holy or closer to God?  Have we wandered any farther away from the glorification of man?   Have we come any closer to laying down the works of our hands?

Or is it just another cursed season of greed on this cursed soil?  Will December 27th see a better world because of the celebration of Christmas?

I’m not running down Christmas.   I’m running down the marketed version.  I’m pointing out the hypocrisy of all worlds it says is love Christ Jesus and put him back in the box right after New Year.

Just friendly little warm fuzzy thoughts for you to go to sleep with.  Night night.  Pleasant dreams.

Pope Francis sells out the church

Pope Francis Condemns Racism And Declares That “All Religions Are True” At Historic Third Vatican Council

A “Christmas” present to his friends. Have . . . people gone stupid today? Good question. No need to specify a race. The insanity reaches all levels of humanity.

Regardless what any man says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is not wisdom to say that God is like us. He has made it exceedingly plain that he is utterly unlike us.

The world is being set up for another persecution of Christians. The Pope’s stance is just another brick in the building. Now is the time to consider these things. Regardless who you are you will be commanded to make a choice.

There is an army to build. And he who is building it is aware of the final war. Purge the ranks. He will fight against God Himself.

Christian Puddles

Child plays in the puddle imagining he is the captain of a vibrant warship.  His mind is small and he does not conceive that very soon dry land will inhabit the real estate of his imagination.  He learns from experience and his parents that such play is only entertainment toward learning.

A puddle can be very large.  But there is a difference between a puddle and the lake or a sea or the ocean.  The only thing that feeds a puddle is a temporary downfall of moisture.  What feeds the others is a constant influx of water.

Many Christians live their lives as land destined to puddle.  When it is convenient they appear to be sufficient bodies of water; that is to say full of the Holy Spirit.  But give them some other time and they will appear dry as the desert.

The new Christian may witness their life and thinking to himself, “This is what is normal.  This is what I am expected to look like.  This is a sufficient life before the Lord.”

Teach the people what it means to have a constant influx of power from the Holy Spirit.  Teach them that sporadic behavior is not holy behavior.  Instruct them in the ways of maturity.  Lest they go about stomping their boots in puddles, imagining themselves to have won the Lord’s favor.
