I do have a sense of humor. Most people wouldn’t recognize it though. They would likely remember, “There’s a difference between insanity and humor, buddy”.

Getting There!
What creature will we become?
It is not given to man to know.
To be like the Angels;
Our appearance to Glow.
Or to be the fulfillment
Of our bodies “below”.
Strive to find out,
With all you possess.
Break from tradition of sin.
What will you give,
Come that moment unveiled,
That new “body” to win?
“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” (1 Peter 4:18)
What Manner of Message?
There is a difference between the experience of a man, in Christ Jesus, and the messages He determines to have us endure.
My soul wakes to view His appearance within me. Then, there is that personal interpretation of His intent.
Which is more important? Which finds words in this beautiful place of testimony He has allowed me to “own”.
Who can say? Who, even of those who write, can say which finds a place to rest before men?
For the Lord is Holy in all He is. What is given in one manner finds a response with variety.
He accomplishes that which He determined.
Dare to Look
When did you learn to hide from God? A child knows no such thing.
When did you taste the forbidden fruit, that tore down Adam and Eve?
Can you remember? Dare you look, at the first page of your sinner’s book?
You loved before then; no missteps to mend. The world was clean and beautiful.
Do you know you can have it again?
You don’t have to wait for heaven. The door knob is at your right hand.
Just kneel and pray to Jesus, “Please give me a wedding band.”

The Ride of Your Life
Have someone tie your wrists to the tail of a powerful horse. Now strike the horse with a stick or the sting of a whip. You are about to encounter the ride of your life.
Tie a rope around your waist and connect the other end to the bumper of a car. Select a careless teenager and let him drive. At the moment of your word, you are about to encounter the ride of your life.
So it is with all who give themselves to the will of the Holy Living God. As you have bound yourself to him, so will your life be changed.

God is First
Some men are given to love this world with all their heart and mind and soul. I cannot help them more than to say, “God is first”.
Some men are given to love His Holy Word with all their heart and mind and soul. I cannot help them more than to say, “God is first”.
Some men are consumed with the world’s idea of aliens on other planets, or perhaps with nothing but prophecy. I cannot help them more than but to say, “God is first”.
The living God is more than this world. The living God is more than the written word. The living God is more than conjecture.
God is first. Nothing counts but faith expressing itself in love. And our faith is firmly grounded in the Holy Son of God. Eternally, it will not be otherwise.
