Necessary Pain

In the Gospel of Christ Jesus, I bring you life.

It is painful by reason of necessity.

For you have not moved your limbs since a little while after you had been born.

Now the Gospel tells you to move your limbs.

It tells you to believe and do.

But in the wickedness of desire you have let your soul become lazy.

Spiritual atrophy belongs to you.

Now the message I bring you is of difficult work.

You must let yourself believe.

Endure the pain or die.

Blasphemous Murmurings

Have you listened to the murmuring of the waters?  Do you understand the definitions of the words they use?

Language is from God.  But wickedness defines the sounds.

There is nothing innocent in the definitions of man.  In everything man says, there is desire to manipulate.

The ear of God plainly hears the blasphemous prattle.  Are your ears tuned to his perception?

Do not think we cannot Hear.  Christ’s promise offers wisdom to discern.

Or do his people also render blasphemous prattle?  Is that the reason why we embrace man’s definitions so readily?  Is that the reason why we are restrained from “becoming”?

Of the Entrance to Eternity

A Holy and Fierce Lion stands watch over Eternity.  From a Righteous rite of passage and with iron will, he has conquered all.  He is a Consuming Fire of Life which bars entrance to all that is unholy.  He protects eternally those who are allowed to enter.  And his blessing of strength is endlessly boundless.

Who will dare approach his blazing teeth which cradle a Golden Tongue of Holy Righteous Fire?  With joyful abandon, the Lion does the will of the Most High God.  Respect for man never crosses His Godly mind.

His razor sharp claws are poised to strike.  The speed of lightning is outstripped by the strength of his limbs!  And his Holy Eyes perceive, void of distraction.

The sound of unholy feet touching the ground, as the unholy man rises from his unholy bed, are heard with perfect clarity.  Preparedness for the confrontation was established before creation was created.  To say the Lion is ready, is to speak with a Great meekness of words.

Men may boast before the encounter.  “I am worthy to gain entrance!  Follow me.  I will lead you past.”  But such boasting will dissipate in a flash!  In the place where boasting was king, terror will take the throne.  Their great arrogant pride will never return again.  Where once life strove to thrive, there will come an eternal wasting!

No one will approach the Lion of Judah without a full understanding of the Holy Love of God.  The Righteousness of God will devour all his enemies.  But the Righteous Love of God stands ready and willing to now instruct.

Who is wise to listen?  Who is fearless enough to approach?  Only those who understand the coming confrontation, will appeal to God for mercy.  Only those who count their strength as weakness, will find themselves willing to listen.  And only those who listen find themselves enabled to become.

From Heaven’s Banks

What is a desert,

But a place unlivable.

A place where even water

Is forbidden to thrive.

A place where food is:

Quicker than man’s hands,

And acid to the stomach.

A place where a man is:

Destined to die,

And in horrible disarray.

No man passes through

Such a place,

Without desiring the things

Of life.

All this,

Yet God sustains.

The son of unrighteousness beats heavily

Upon the desert of men.

He mocks them

In their plight;

Offering useless promises,

Reminding of delights.

How they make his day pleasant,

To remember roasted pheasant.

While they chew away on cactus,

Malnutrition is their way!

All this,

Yet Christ sustains.

Forced to die and suffer loss;

Of the way of man this is the cost.

Yet there are those who make their way

Fed well by Christ,

And everyday!

You know what I am speaking of,

That healthy banquet from above,

A table in the wilderness

Covered with delicacies of love.

What right-minded man would pass it by?

The jars of water.

The meat is fried.

The succulent fruit from lands afar.

And Holy welcome

From servants of Fire!

But a great traipsing mass

Walks by everyday,

Spurning the offering

Of “The Way“!

Yet of those who sit

And gorge themselves,

How many give him rightful thanks?

By convincing others to come and eat

Of the fruit from Heaven’s banks.

Mr and Mrs pryde

“I feel bad about Who I am.  There is something lacking in the praises to me.  I am gorgeous and beautiful!  Why then, do all not bow down when I arrive?”

And so the flatterer was born.  His Father was the Most High God.  But those who raised him up were called Mr and Mrs Wrongful and Ignorant Pryde.

What a couple they make!  How righteous and perfect do they first appear.  But spend a moment with them in conversation, and the reality of their hatred fills the air.

Men can come and go from their presence, as they please.  But to be reared in their house is a sentence of death.

Nothing satisfies the Prydes more than dreams and ambitions of being God himself.  But even if it were possible for God to step aside, would they find the comfort of their thrones pleasant?

If these are your parents, it would be better for you to go live in the streets.  It would be better to die of starvation, than to live in the house of Lies.

Truth and humility live in the place of suffering.  Opulence and plenty fill the house of Mr and Mrs Pryde.  Every day and night they entertain many.  And flattery caps every conversation.

But Truth and Humility make their home in the open spaces.  They carefully teach all their children to endure.  They speak joyously about the things of eternity.  They never cease to praise their Father in heaven.  And holy respect caps every conversation.

They are from the lineage of reality.  Trustworthy and dutiful parents, they are adored by all their children.

Who are your parents?

Scissors and Worms

The righteous man walks carefully down the wet slippery alley, holding his scissors points down.  The moisture has brought out the worms.  And hardly a step can be taken without sliding.

The righteous man does not run with his scissors.  Nor does he eat the worms.  For he remembers the words of his parents, and strives diligently to obey.

Yet behind him is a clamor. And not a worm is left in sight.  With their eyes stabbed bloody, bellies full of wiggly things, and the cry of complaining anxiety, the wicked urge him to run and eat.

Blessed is the man who loves to obey God.  He will see with clarity.  And he will eat of the finer things in the land.

But cursed for eternity are those who love rebellion.  They close their own eyes forever.  And they feed themselves on those which will feed on them.

Choose you this day whom you will serve!
