I have had words with those who are caught in sexual immorality.  They are caught because they do not love the Lord.  I do not mean that as an accusation.  It is a truth.  For as we love Him, we learn to abstain from the things unholy.  There is a volume to say on this subject.  But who would read it?  If there are questions, I am more than willing to discuss.  I understand the problem.  I know the fix.  And can testify that the Lord is able to redeem.  We do not just cover our sins with Grace.  We are encouraged and commanded to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in us according to His Good purpose.

Grace?  Work?  Which one applies?  How about both.  Let Grace cover you as you work for His Glory.  Why is that so hard to understand?

The Day Is Near

¹¹ And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. ¹² The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. ¹³ Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. ¹⁴ Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.”  (Romans 13)
