Too Much to Expect?

Where are the teachers of the Lord?  In this whirl wind of lies, deception, redefinition of words, abominations, immorality, idolatry, and chaos, where is the word of those who have lived within the will of God all their adult lives?  I’m looking for the wise among man who can lead others away from the brink of destruction.

Are we, as a nation, sealed now in the corruption of sin?  Is there no voice from the righteous people of God against these things?  Where is the concerted attack against media from the Christian community?  Where is the righteous word against lies?  Why does the Christian community, as a whole whisper like this?  While sin is consuming our nation, is there no one who will stand up like a pillar of fire and spout the truth?  Or have we become so comfortable in our little lives that we won’t step forward?

I know, and so do you, that anyone who raises his voice against the folly of this nation will be set on like a baby among hungry wolves.  What a precious opportunity to shine for the Lord.  I am a fool redeemed.  Where is the righteous man of Christ?

Do Not Let Me Resort to Fear

In life here there are lies.  There is death, hunger, despair, hatred, false religion, false gods, hopelessness, twisted men who present themselves as if they are “good”.  And the list I could make of what is here would go on for many pages.  Who would read what they can touch with their own fingers?

Yet in this life there is a place of understanding that strips off all that filthy list.  There is a place where a man can know truth and live it.  I know that place!  I know that many will see me type those words and balk, “No man knows truth.”  I tell you I know Him!  And, more importantly, He knows me.

You want freedom from all that detestable list?  Do you want FREEDOM to LIVE?  Pry it from my heart.  Help me testify to what He is.  Ask me.  Press me.  Help me put into words what only the soul can understand with any clarity.

We have lips, graphics, gestures, and body language to communicate.  That’s the limit of our ability.  So how can I hope to tell you what is spoken in a place where these things are NOT the limit?  Take it from me.  Ask until you understand.

God has given the Gospel to men so that men can speak to one another.  It is a humble heart who will lower themselves enough to ask another man.  It is the proud who will restrain their questions before men.  The proud will think that no man can know the truth.  The humble will avail themselves to any possible source of life.  They will seek with all their might.  And if the testimony I give you falters, the meek will understand that I am like them.

We struggle to share what cannot be perceived.  But that inability to perceive it through our senses does not mean it is a lie.  Salvation in Jesus is absolutely real and transforming.  Consider this:  We are in the place of testing.  We are the ones who, for now, can’t see what eternity has seen all along.  We are the ones blind to His presence.  He is not blind to us.

Ask and I will tell you what He has told me.  And I am not the only one.  There are thousands of me.  Ask them.  Press them.  You know who they are.  Make them tell you.  And do not let them resort to fear.

The Fog of Clarity

English: Fog in Wayanad

There is pride of man.  Do not mistake to think you can be rid of it here in this place of testing.  It lays just at the door step of even prayer.  Hideous in nature, it waits for opportune moments to rise up and cloud your judgment before the Most High God.

But there is a confidence born of faith in the Son of Man.  We rise up to become what we are designed to be as we come to the Lord in prayer.  This confidence presents itself as an abiding joy.  What man can know the difference as long as pride hides in the shadows?

The Lord knows the difference.  And He alone is able to show a man what is true in this matter.  Confidence against pride, we present ourselves to the Lord.  And walking away from our time of prayer we somehow know that there are two who vie for our attention.  May God shed light on this to all His people.  It is not His will that we grovel in our prayer, but that we stand with a great confidence before Him.  It is also not His will that we abide in the pride of man; that we should know the knowledge of what He has given us to know and consider ourselves above one another.

In this matter there is a fog of clarity in those who worship the Lord through the power of Jesus.  We know, yet we are not sure.  Again, may God present understanding to our hearts.  May we learn that subtle difference between pride of man and The Pride of God.

Amen.

Government Molevolent

English: Poverty Русский: Нищенство

A government unchained from the will of the people becomes a government malevolent.  Debate is now swarming around this concept.  In the end we will see a people crushed while the “elite” dine in joy.

Beware.  It approaches even as you breathe.

Do any realize that this statement reflects the end result of satan’s rebellion against God?  Do any understand that this is why God created what we now live?

We are the answer from God to an accusation from the corrupt one.  Jesus was prepared and issued from God’s throne to answer, once and for all, a certain question.  “You ask too much of us.  Who can bear what You command?”

God answered when He spoke creation into being.  From the foundation of the world Christ Jesus was set apart to redeem a people to His Father who would obey regardless the cost.  No one has to understand what Jesus has done to make these things true.  Yet His promise is absolute to all who put their trust in Him.

Will the Ocean Be Saved?

You have said to the sea,

“Thus far you shall come and no more.”

You have said to man’s greed,

“Thus far you shall come and no more.”

You have made a people for Yourself.

You spoke them to life and said,

“Thus far you have come……..

And I will call you farther.”

Praise to the Lord of Life!

For He has not restrained His people.

He has set them free to live!

He has touched them with His Holy Hand.

And to them He has said,

“I will come to you and take you to be with me.

This far you WILL come and it will be complete.

For where I am you will be also.”

The restraint of the sea does not belong to man.

The restraint against sin does not belong to God’s people.

Just as the hope in Christ is not offered to the ocean.

Amen.

Winter Past, Victory Attained!

English: Yosemite Valley in winter

The people of God wake to spring in America.   As I sat in the dark to listen to the rain sprinkle life to new born plants, I thought about the winter past.  I thought of how quickly a season passes once it is done.  How odd that the strivings of winter fade to a single picture of either success or failure when Spring moves in.  And at the end of that inspection I find work.  By His Glorious Grace I have worked through Winter to become something more than what I was in the Fall.

How beautiful to find that growth has been logged in my history.  I did not do this.  It is God, because of His beauty, who has done this for me.  And not for me only, but for all who hear with ears not their own.  For those who have been given eyes to see what cannot be seen with the eyes of man.  And for all of us who fight that good fight with a strength that only comes from the One who is absolute strength.

How glorious to remember that God is eternal!  To know that there is no shadow of turning within the God Most High we serve through Jesus.  We rest in knowing that unending seasons will continue because God cannot fail.   Death belongs to sin.  And there is no possibility of God sinning against Himself.

With this I rise to serve.  And I remember this:  There is no fear in love.  For fear has to do with punishment.  And he who fears is not yet made perfect in love.  There is no reason to fear Spring this year.  For I remember that He has granted me sweet memories of holy work within me through the Winter.   May God bless all His children with the same victory, and more.

Amen!

By Hiis Grace.
