Listen to who you will.  Adhere to what pleases your heart.  Chase after all the winds that graze your cheek.  There is but one “way”.  It has been carved out of this world with the Holy hands of Jesus.  He has spoken the manner of approach to the Father’s Holy Throne.

Such, receive the promise

When you’re invited to a feast of a king it is best to be washed and dressed appropriately.  How much more does this apply to the king of kings?

What does it mean to be dressed and washed?  We are to be washed in his blood using only his sacrifice to clean us.  And we are to be dressed in his perfect holiness.  It is not acceptable to appear in our own. Our holiness is not clean and white enough.  Didn’t you realize the Father himself will appear?

And we can be sure we are invited.  Not only because he cannot lie, but also because we share in his ministry.  Those who will attend the banquet of the Lord are doing so now.  Such men and women are busily preparing to attend.  They too are engaged in the work the Lord has accomplished.

The Lord spoke of such who do not prepare to attend, and when asked how they got in, they have nothing to respond.  He has ordered them taken out cut to pieces and assigned a place with unbelievers.

Upon hearing these things why would you not choose to prepare?  Why would you let fear over rule your desire to attend?  Those who love him, those who obey the fathers commands, those who believe and prepare, those who watch.

Such receive the promise

JESUS

Jesus, such a magnificent personage.  And isn’t it just like the world to look to authorities to vet the beautiful people in this world.  None compare to Him, yet very few come to admire Him for who He really is.

“He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.”

This place we live in is indeed a place of testing.  The heart of every man is tested every moment of life to see what he will do with this Jesus.  How blessed are we who know Him; that the Father has seen fit to open our eyes like this.  Let all God’s people in Christ Jesus give thanks for the fact that they are learning to worship the One whom God the Father has set above all.

By His Grace.
