An Epic Taking

One by one, they’ve come and taken our babies.  America was a haven for the freedom of God among the people, but only for a little while.  Now, the freedom of God among the people has been reduced to a roaring silence.

It is common place now to ignore those who say such things.  “Ignore him maybe he’ll just go away.”  I have heard of many who have become silent for just such a reason.

But take note of this, life will not allow a vacuum.  If God does not have freedom among the people, I guarantee you I know who does.

I cannot influence a single soul to be bold in Christ.  That will remain a personal choice.  But I am as firm as a steel spike driven into granite, I will not be silent.

One by one, they have come and taken away our babies.  And with the taking God’s  freedom has been taken as well.

A Sequel, (personal observations)

I wrote a post called “Dear Active Atheist”.  It was not quite as successful as I’d like, though it wasn’t a completely worthless venture.  I tried to offer a platform of reasoning.  But no one seriously took the offer.

So what have I learned?  I learned that men call themselves atheists because they love the idea that there is nothing to be accountable to.

I learned a crucial side benefit for them in their godless thoughts; with no conscience to hold them down, they allow themselves to seek all possible notoriety (regardless the cost to anyone else).

And lest I had forgotten, I am reminded of what selfish brute beasts they are.  If they are not busy pursuing selfish pleasure, they are actively destroying the lives of those with hope.    In the best of my estimation, they are not a benign tumor in the body of humanity.

If it is a pursuit of pleasure you desire, why don’t you just call yourself a hedonist?  Why go so far as to say there is no God?   So on that note, honesty just isn’t enough.  I don’t think you’re an atheist, I think you’re just willfully ignorant.  In which case you are nothing special at all.

I have also learned that the atheist is a thief.  If he is not actively doing damage to those with hope, he is stealing from the mass of humanity by failing to take into account the larger picture.  A man can only teach what he knows.

The majority of mankind at least recognizes that there is a larger picture.  Denying the portion of religion and the supernatural, the Atheist robs his fellow man of what is apparently crucial knowledge to all.

Let me finish this by addressing self aggrandizement.  There’s no God in the atheist’s mind.  So he raises himself to fill the void.  If others don’t agree with his newfound royalty, the atheist becomes livid.  It is because of simple posts like this, that I have been witness to explosive outbursts that fall just short of the legal line.

Once again my conclusion is correct.  At best the atheist is a worthless member of society.  At worst he is violence in the waiting.

I have reported my observations according to what I witness.  If you atheists have something else to offer that can soften my observations toward you, please present it.  I am not hard hearted.  I simply lack any proof of your value.

And please, be wisely aware that displaying any of the things I have already mentioned will do absolutely nothing to change my observations.  What credible value are you to humanity?

“Places Everyone!”

image

Man is placed in a place remote.  For if his place were among the things of God, Man would try to dethrone Him.

This place of testing, this place of proving, this place of violence or love.

This place of choices, this place of life or death, this place of time and decay.

This place of anarchy, this place of treason, this place of hatred or faith.

They refuse to listen.  They despise the one who speaks.  And at every possible convenience, they turn away from knowledge.

This place of filthy, this place of ludicrous, this place of blood and flesh.

This place of confusion, this place of pride, this place of accomplishment and humiliation.

Lest every man be utterly destroyed, God has set a place for rebellion.

This place of wondering, this hopelessness, place of vile distrust, this place of alienation and rare embrace.

Two doors exit this place.  One is wide to accommodate the masses.  The other is so narrow you cannot point it out.

One is proportioned for the violent fits which company the chaos of rebellion.  The other is only large enough for the soul.

We must all leave this place.  But we do not all arrive in the same Place.

Every man who owns rebellion alone, will certainly find himself alone.

But every man who has been stripped of rebellion, to a sort, that which remains cannot die.  Lessened, such men will find good company.

In all things, the endlessly spacious Place of God is utterly unlike ours.

Moment by moment, every man chooses his destiny.  But let us not think that the destiny of man is varied in context.  No!  There is either eternal inclusion, or eternal desperation.

Debate all these things, Oh wandering souls of men.  Or kneel before the Living God in faith.  Plead with him for understanding.

All that belongs to Man is death.  All that belongs to God is Life in Christ Jesus His holy and Righteous Son.

Walls

Every wall divides, that is its singular purpose.  On one side of the wall are those things that are not desired.  On the other side of the wall is the desire of the one who erected the wall.

Your house has walls.  Your heart walls.  The City of God has walls.  Think deeply on this and understanding will bud on the limb of your tree.

But there is another wall that men rarely speak of.  It is created to keep Man distant from the Holiness of the Sovereign God.  My soul sees this clearly, but the limits of Man’s communication perplex my words.  And how should this be astounding?  Even the Lord Jesus questioned as to how he might deliver these truths to Man.  “What is the kingdom of God like?  And to what should I compare it?”

Every man knows the wall I am speaking of.  It is the blackness apparent on a cloudless night.  It is the blackness of our understanding.  Is the blackness of our ability to speak to one another in regard to the great things of the Holy One.  It is the blackness of the will, to obey the Living God’s Holy Son.

This wall is for protection on both sides, for the Living God is not evil as many attribute to his Holy name.  It protects our evil hearts from the condemnation of the Living God.  And to protects the Sovereign purity that is Life from the Living God.

If any man would pass from one side of the wall to the other, the doorway must be shown to him.  This doorway is the Holy Son of the Living God.  You will find the complete description of it written in the Bible.

Now who has understanding?  Who desires eternal life?  Who will bend his will, that God may raise him up?  Who will lower his walls that God may enter?

My God will watch over these words.  Wherever they go, what eyes may read them, the Living God will watch the response.

Stand Your Ground?

What’s wrong with this picture?

From their own imagination, they gather to themselves great crowns of righteousness!  Not only do they boast in their own inheritance, but they refuse to honor the One who is Clean.

But go ahead, lap it up America; like a hungry dog at a bowl of milk.  The wrath of God waits patiently.

Damaging Judgments of Memory

There was a fountain in the town square that used to be connected to an underground stream laced with sulfur.  When the fountain had been built the water was clean.  But over time a pocket of sulfur was released by the flow.

The people in the village knew to avoid the water in the fountain, and it’s no surprise they considered it a filthy thing.  It was obvious this was not a place of nourishment.

But for some unexplained reason, one day the water in the fountain ran clean.  For years the people in the village avoided the fountain, not caring that the water was pure.  They couldn’t forget what the fountain used to contain.

Instead of enjoying their newfound convenience, they would walk nearly a quarter mile to the fresh flowing spring outside the village to get their water.  By habit and a memory of insult, they refused to drink the water of the fountain.

Do we judge the value of a man by what he used to be?  Or are we diligent enough to take a look at what he has become?
