When Morning Comes

It’s time to wake,

To do and to be;

Property of my God –

Exclusively.

Join Us!

They have hated us for no reason; we who receive forgiveness of our sins, and the promise of eternal life in Christ Jesus the Holy Son of God.  They look on us with hatred for we say we are free.  They refer to us as self righteous fools.  All the while, as they look in the mirror of their soul, they see an endless loss.

I was one of those who hated the people of Christ.  But God has had endless mercy on me to open my eyes of understanding.

If he can do this for me, he can do it for any man.

There is no need for jealousy.  There is no need for slanderous accusations.  We do not ask for pity.  We ask that you should join us.

1 Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Walls

Every wall divides, that is its singular purpose.  On one side of the wall are those things that are not desired.  On the other side of the wall is the desire of the one who erected the wall.

Your house has walls.  Your heart walls.  The City of God has walls.  Think deeply on this and understanding will bud on the limb of your tree.

But there is another wall that men rarely speak of.  It is created to keep Man distant from the Holiness of the Sovereign God.  My soul sees this clearly, but the limits of Man’s communication perplex my words.  And how should this be astounding?  Even the Lord Jesus questioned as to how he might deliver these truths to Man.  “What is the kingdom of God like?  And to what should I compare it?”

Every man knows the wall I am speaking of.  It is the blackness apparent on a cloudless night.  It is the blackness of our understanding.  Is the blackness of our ability to speak to one another in regard to the great things of the Holy One.  It is the blackness of the will, to obey the Living God’s Holy Son.

This wall is for protection on both sides, for the Living God is not evil as many attribute to his Holy name.  It protects our evil hearts from the condemnation of the Living God.  And to protects the Sovereign purity that is Life from the Living God.

If any man would pass from one side of the wall to the other, the doorway must be shown to him.  This doorway is the Holy Son of the Living God.  You will find the complete description of it written in the Bible.

Now who has understanding?  Who desires eternal life?  Who will bend his will, that God may raise him up?  Who will lower his walls that God may enter?

My God will watch over these words.  Wherever they go, what eyes may read them, the Living God will watch the response.

Recompense and Reward

Zacchaeus was evidently a man of small stature, but he was not poor.  He promised to pay back double if he had cheated anyone.

In my life, I have been a man of small heart, and nearly a pauper.  I am no billionaire, and what money can remove the scars from those I have injured?

But I am eternally rich in the things of Christ.  It is he who will pay back double for all the injury I have made.  I am wealthy beyond my possible imagination.  Be patient, for justice and mercy will come like a flood.

Abrasive Consistency

Some people think I think too highly of myself because of all the things I write concerning God.  Not only do I not think too highly of myself, I’m hardly worthy to be called a Christian.

By speaking so much, they say I try to elevate myself.  And their judgments are made to drag me back down.  (I would think that if someone is trying to elevate themselves, they would not speak consistently of someone else.)

There seems to be a disparity here.  What if I really am no one in Christ?  What if I’m just an average man who sees something beautiful in God?  What if, at best, I am only an average Christian?  Wouldn’t that be what they are actually trying to say?

I do find it interesting, that those who try to drag me back down, do not step up to speak themselves.  So if I am, at best, an average Christian, or even a hypocrite, as they say, who should step down and who should step up?

And with all the time that is spent trying to drag me back down to the place they think I belong, they would do better to assess the words I write and consider their own standing in Christ.

But isn’t this what every vocal Christian finds to be true?  The moment we praise God with an open heart, the entire world gathers together to shut us down.

Its not that they offer anything better or different.  They simply don’t like hearing about the Living God’s Holy Son.  And they really can’t stand it, that one of their own, loves God more than Man.

If I’m wrong about these things, I do sincerely apologize.  But I see nothing, in the fabric of Man, to say these things are not true.

Unworthy

A car with a bad engine is unworthy of your money, unless you have the means to fix it.  And if your car behaves poorly, you begin to search for ways to repair it or to get another one.

If a road is closed because there is no bridge, only the true idiot continues undeterred.  The tiniest  modicum of wisdom forces people to find another route.

You can read the signs your car gives you, you can read the signs on the road.  How is it that so many do not read the signs of warning in their dilapidated soul?

The philosopher Plato said, “The unexamined life is not worth living”.  Isn’t it true, the one who ignores signs of warning encourages a bad day.

Your life is broken.  If you don’t know that, you haven’t examined it very closely.  Even according to the man Plato, your life then is not worth living.  What’s your response to all this?

If a mechanic pulls up to a stop sign next to you and tells you he is willing to fix your falling car for free, wouldn’t he get your interest?  Well I’ve pulled up next to you in the body of this message.  I know the one who can fix your broken life.  His name is Jesus.
