From Ascension to Descent

To the pinnacle of the mountains with me;

From the darkness of the valley,

For the Glory of God to see.

The brilliance of light divided,

God’s excellent will, provided.

Darkness well kept within its place.

Remote from the Holy One’s blazing face.

There I perceive and begin my descent;

To speak to the people, to whom I am sent.

I saw the blazing fire there,

The one reserved for callused care.

Shall I refuse to speak the warning?

Demise will come on that Great Morning!

But also from the peak I saw,

The Glorious love of the Living God!

Now I descend in awe.

The Birth of Rebellion

The law of God has set forth life.  The list and its sayings toward application are not far removed from Man.  But who has the constitution to seek them out?

A child is born, and there is great rejoicing.  But I fail to find the strength to rejoice with them.  For in the essence of my soul I do not see the baby.  I see the man they will force him to become.

By the time he is two, the child has already been taught and onslaught of lies.  His questions are answered by those who do not understand or seek.  Innocence is shattered by the weapons of lies.  The house in which he is raised is not purged of sharp and deadly instruments.

What a horrible creature they mark me as; that I should be so callus as to be sad at the birth of a baby.

What then do I see as I look at the volume of Man?  I see the bloody hands that rip at Jesus.  I see the shouting horde that despised the beauty of God.  I see rebellion raised as king, while the King is raised toward death.  And the lovely law of God is cast aside.

Yet I will love them all, for He has loved even me.  I will testify to the beauty of eternal perfection, though my finger has nowhere to point, that I should show them concrete evidence.

By faith I will believe and love them.  I will adore them as if they are Jerusalem, the blessing of God among the filth of Man.

With great and excellent praise for the Living God, my Lord Jesus entered Jerusalem.  Knowing what would happen, he let his heart be filled with joy to accomplish the will of His Holy Father.  And didn’t the people join him in praise?  Yet so soon following, they would demand his demise.

They had meant it for evil, that they may be rid of the Holy Testimony.  But God had determined it for good; that eternal joy and life should be offered through the very one they so willing ripped apart.

I will love the wicked with the love of God.  I will gesture to His lovely laws.  I will let this sorrow remain and will not join them.  For the bodies of women continually produce more who will rebell.

Let there be joy and innocence.  But may we strive to retain it!  I look!  I strive to see!  I study the fabric of Man!  But where is truth beside the cradle?  Instead of a blazing lamp, they leave a gilded book of lies for the child to peruse.

Yes I will love them even as my Lord loved Jerusalem.

“34 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.   35 Look, your house is left to you desolate.”  (Luke 13)

More

No matter how deep the wickedness within you, Christ is willing to receive you.  No matter how you struggle, Christ is willing to be your strength.

No matter how deep into Christianity you have progressed, I tell you there is more.  More joy, more strength, more holiness more love, more joy, more of everything that is good!

Simply believe.  Pray with all you have and he will show you the way.

Beyond Perception

Do you ever feel alone in Christ, as if there is no one who sees, no one who hears, and no one who understands?  As if every man is running headlong to hell, screaming at the top of his lungs lest he hear a righteous word.  When the moment of blackened clouds obscures the hope of evangelism, strive to remember the following:

It is impossible that the Son of the Living God should not gather a vast crowd to himself.  What is set on fire with Life cannot possibly die.  And his great abundant joy will surely find a great sharing!

Rejoice in obscurity.  A precious garden of joyful souls is growing, as if in secret, beyond the eyes of men.

Who Will Love Jesus?

The work of God among us
Is the saving of unholy souls.
Who is willing to join him
In his Holy and righteous work?

First to those who believe,
That they may understand.
And then to the masses,
Who lack understanding,
That they too might “become”.

Who will respond to the call of God?
Who will fulfill his desire?
With blazing strength he will clothe,
With the fearlessness of fire.

When the Son of man returns,
Will he find “The Faith” on the earth?

The call of Ezekiel
Belongs to God’s people.
Ezekiel 3: 17-21

“If you love me you will keep My commandments.”
The size of the harvest is given into the hands of men.
Are we not commanded to go to the field and work?

Honoring HIM, Thus Entering IN.

The Lord Jesus spoke His Holy Father’s name by doing His eternal will.

As the Word of God has done, so will do His faithful few.

Let us pray.

Let us learn.

Let us praise Him.

Let us sing to His Holy Honor.

Let us remember, as if we reattached an arm.

But above all things, let us speak His Holy name by the “doing” of it.

The Lord says,

“These people come near to me with their mouth

and honor me with their lips,

but their hearts are far from me.

Their worship of me

is based on merely human rules they have been taught.” (Isaiah 29: 13)

It is not profitable that we should speak His Holy name by the use of our lips only.

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”  (Matthew 7)

Why should those who read the words of this servant, not see his face on that Holy Day?  Why should we not congregate around the Holy One with joy?  Is it right that anyone who hears the words He gives me, not be with me in eternal joy?

He does not ask too much.  He provides everything we need to enter into His Holy joy forever.  If we do not have, it is because we will not retain.  But if we will become diligent, we will enter in with an inexpressible joy.  Fear nothing!  He is willingly with you.
