Why the Wrath, Here?

I sat with the Holy One, reflecting on the nature of things in this world.  I saw that His Holy Wisdom has been loosed in this Place of Testing; a Great display of His Majesty to sustain life, even among a people who detest His Holy Right to Rule.  Then I settled on a question.  “If the destruction of the wicked will surely come to pass, why bring the volume of the seven seals among Man?”

I did not mean to judge His Holy Wisdom to seal the end of this Place of Testing with violence.  I simply did not understand the necessity to bring the plagues upon humanity, since the destruction of rebellion will surely come to pass.

I asked this question.  He told me to go and write, as is the custom of revelation between He and I.  He spoke to Moses face to face.  He speaks to many in dreams.  He has spoken to me in the means of writing.

Let understanding come as it will.  The following is His answer.

They will receive (even in their place of flesh; even in this “place of testing”), the due penalty for their willful ignorance.  The punishment of wickedness will certainly begin while the consummation of the war against evil rolls toward finality.

It is not the state of man to endure this war.  It is not Man for whom this war has been engaged.  But it is the state of those who side with the unholy one to endure the same “ripping away of willful disobedience”.  Those who desire to side with evil will certainly endure that taste of coming and sure destruction.  All that belongs to the hands of the accuser will suffer loss, even while those hands are busily destroying.  Man is caught in the war between God and the accuser, whether he desires to be involved or not.

It is Man who is become the display of contention.  It is Man who is either saved for the Glory of Christ, or it is Man who is delivered to humiliation for the sake of he who is humiliated for his accusation against the Holy One Forever.

Who can understand the Holy Wisdom of the Most High God?  What man can speak of the beauty that belongs to He who Lives Forever?  As we endure in His Marvelous Mercy, so the wicked will surely endure in His Marvelous, Righteous, Just, and Eternally Powerful Wrath.  May the will of the Living God be done forever, and that in His Holy and Righteous Living Son, Jesus the Christ.  Amen.

Most people I talk to have not thought through the Judgment very well.  By what they say to me, they figure some how to escape.

But I wonder what they would say to the following.

You’re speeding down the road at 92 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone.  A law enforcement officer comes up behind you with his lights on.  Obediently you pull to the side of the road.

As soon as you turn off the engine, 2000 law enforcement officers appear from the tall grass along the road.  While amazement still covers your mind, they completely encircle your car with guns drawn.  Frankly sir, you have nowhere to go.

Do people really think they will stand one on one with the Most High God?  Do you think you will be allowed to banter and barter your way out?

Almost every angel will be summoned to the judgement of man.  You will be encircled on every possible side, with absolutely nowhere to go.

Those who are destined to destruction will have absolutely no choice.  The angels will discompassionately obey the Holy Father’s command.

It is impossible for God to lie.  He has spoken destruction for those who do not love his Holy Son.

This is no opinion.  It is the final and true Word of God.  Those who do not humble themselves before the Most High God, turning from their sinful ways, will receive the promise of destruction.

There’s a lot more to the gospel than just repenting of your sins.  But let this writing set the stage for all the things that need to come next.

Three Days

I track the days.  I track three days; yesterday, today and tomorrow.

My Lord Jesus also tracks these days for me.  For he himself has walked under the rising and falling of the Sun and Moon.

But the Lord also keeps track of millenia; that which is yesterday, today and forever.

Can I trust him?  You be the judge.

Regard or Suspicion?

There is an air of suspicion among Christian bloggers.  It’s the same air we find in the body of Christ.  This suspicion is neither good or bad.  In one way, we should develop a sense of carefulness regarding who is sincerely in love with Jesus.  In another way, we should be very careful not to offend our brothers.  Those on the fence, in believing to salvation, should be weeded apart from those who have entered in.  But who can tell?  And should we allow our suspicion to drive the “babes” away?

We all have a healthy and careful approach to others who call themselves Christian.  And this is as it should be.  Those who are mature in Christ, however, will balance their doubt of others by the measure of the Word of God.  It is right that we should judge one another on the basis of truth.  But that judgment should never exclude another from fellowship.  When we find fault in another, regarding doctrine, ethics, morals, or statements, we should not presume them to be the enemy.  What fault we find might simply be a matter of redirecting from error to truth.

I applaud the bloggers for being careful.  But let’s not let our work in our blog drive an eternal wedge between our brothers and sisters on here.  If you are mature, teach.  If you are growing, learn.  To those of you who are mature in Christ I say this:  “You never learn so much as when you teach”.  There are millions of thoughts behind the man of Christ who has learned to do His Holy will on a consistent basis.  Have mercy on those who are trying to accomplish the tasks you have learned to do well.

To those who are learning I say this: “Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry” (wow that sound so familiar).  What you lack in maturity, you don’t even realize your lack yet.  There are men and women in Christ who are able to discern your need, and they will not count it against you if you prove your willingness to learn.

In all things we do in our blog, let us be very careful.  Treat your posts and responses as though you were in a church body setting.  After all, aren’t we doing eternal work?  I post this because I have both encountered snobby bloggers.  And I have posted items I had to remove later.  We all falter and stumble in our words.  Mercy is the call of eternity.
