Prepare! Prepare! Prepare!

Death, being our flesh’s last doorway, is a curious problem. Billions have entered it’s threshold and never had the slightest inkling it was near. Yet once through, we will all find the astonishing scream of TRUTH.

One scream will be that of perfect people pleading for a “second chance”. Their pleas will not receive their desire. What was done is absolute, complete, foreboding, and eternal. They now reap the reward which they proved they desired by the life they led and who they worshiped. Their time of testing is finished and they will be granted their desire to be rid of God’s presence.

The other scream heard will be that of extreme joy and amazing release. Those who put their trust in Christ Jesus will reap His bountiful reward. We speak little of the great rewards, and I think we often suffer for this loss of words. Yet, even Jesus, made rewards of less interest than the warnings of hell. One thing we do know, His reward is in His hand. And we know that He will deliver a bounty unto those who love Him which will over flow our greatest hope.

Prepare!  Prepare!  Prepare, for the doorway of death approaches for us all!  You are young, prepare.  You are busy, prepare.  You are old, prepare!  Do not say to yourself, “I’m tired of hearing all this noise about hell and such”.  The moment you become bored with eternity and the promises of Good and Bad, you sell yourself out to the Bad.  As a fellow runner has said, “The storm is approaching “, with lightning speed.

Awakened, At Last!

I wake in the morning by my eyes and my ears.

I wake in the morning to remember my fears.

Sleep was my refuge for my weakness of flesh.

And as wake comes upon me I remember He’s best.

I woke one spring morning to my last breath of death.

By the evening He’d awakened, a new heart in my chest.

In body I sleep, but my soul needs no rest.

He’s bought me with blood; Righteous and best.

He is all!  He is all!  He is all my soul will need!

The Holiness of God now covers me!

Oh Jesus, my Lord, my Savior and Friend,

You’ll cover me wholly till my flesh finds it’s end.

Rise Up! You Serve He Who Has No End!

Though I falter in faith.  Though my sight can no longer see Him.  Though I stumble as to never rise in this world.  I will praise the Name of Jesus!  It is to His Glory that His people rise up.  And the grace He provides will not return to Him void!

You are His people!  Remember who He is,  The Great and Mighty God of all eternity!  You do not stand before Him as helpless people tossed to and frow by the winds of lies.  Though these lies penetrate to the heart those who deny His Name, we stand by the power of Holy blood poured out on the ground.  If the blood of Able still speaks, how much more will the blood of Jesus speak?  And if men find strength in a “good” man, how much more will we find strength in He who Lives forever?

Strike forth!  You are the people of the Most High God!

By His Grace.

STAND! FOR YOU HONOR THE KING OF GLORY!

This link will embolden us by the faith of those who struggle like all His people.  Stand!  He WILL be Glorified!

Living Faith.

“From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it” [Matt. 11:12, NIV].

What is saving faith?  Men chase after all manner of religion.  And though they know better, they hold tight to what is offered by man.  It’s the teachers who speak of limits, not God.  Men will tell you that God no longer speaks to man.  And others riddicule healing by the power of God.  Some would even go so far as to say there is no power of God among men.

But the forceful will seek farther.  They reach a barrier and read of promises which speak of “more”.  They feel the restrictions of the flesh and think to themselves, “This is not all there is”.  These are the men who find the power of Jesus Christ;  that living faith which moves mountains in their way.

“. . . when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”  (Luke 18: 8)  This passage speaks of “The Faith”.  The living faith based and founded on the promises of the Living God.  There is no weakness in the Living God.  And He desires that there be no weakness in His people.

Strain against the lies.  Press against your doubt.  Fall into the hurricane which speaks against the Living God.  Grasp what is promised and live in the Living God.

Trouble’s Boy

From whom do the words of warning come, when all appears so rosy?

From he who sits with lovely friends, in houses warm and cozy?

Such words don’t come from those who sleep.

Nor do they come from joy.

As lightning strikes and burns the grass,

warnings come from trouble’s boy.
