Insatiable Demand

Every law ever instituted by man is meant to curb his rebellious nature. But no sooner are laws instituted, and we find people inventing ways to satisfy their longing for selfish wickedness.

To point this out is likely useless. Consider this example: speed limits are set to protect the people from simple errors. But unless the policeman is visible, the people will speed 5, 10, 15 miles over the limit.

Crime is not limited to those violations of law that can land a man in prison. Look down the road considerably farther. God is Holy and Perfect. If a man will break a small law of humanity, he is already willing to break God’s laws in heaven.

God has set the boundaries of his law to protect perfection.

What does this mean to us? With a little bit of thought, the meaning becomes glaringly obvious. The more we think about it, the more terrifying is our insatiable demand.

Who is bold enough to receive God‘s righteous restraints?

Legislative Freedom

The freedom of a child turns first to love.  Innocence demands inclusion for all.  In a child’s heart, there is no separation between us but the surface of our skin.  The child’s heart does not see colors of skin or deviant actions (The blackening of Souls).  The child’s heart does not understand violence born of selfish greed.  And the child’s heart is innocent before God.

But soon comes rules and regulation.  “You shall do this, you should not do that.”  The lack of self discipline demands law.  Innocence, or ignorance, is not a license for deviant behavior.  The love of a child quickly turns to obedience in lieu of punitive action.  And isn’t it tragically necessary.

As it is with the little child, so it is for every man.  Law stands as a wall around everyone.  Law is for the deviant.  Freedom is for those who love.

I spent the night in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan.  I learned about the Chippewa who held this land before the Whites came.  I was curious about the state of the Chippewa Nation in today’s economy.  So I looked up their law.  I was surprised to find a lengthy and comprehensive code of law.  For whatever reason, I did not expect to find the law of the Greeks.  I think I expected to find something more akin to the law of natural order.

But my heart is bruised to find such a free people compelled to recognize the laws of the Greeks.

Gone is innocence.  Hello, the literary form of love.

“You will do this and you will not do that.  You will accept mechanization and technological order.  You will live in houses.  You will drive cars.  You are compelled to receive the education of the Greeks for your children.  You are compelled to bury your people according to the ordinance of the Modern Age. You are no longer a Free People.”

Yes my heart is bruised for the sake of their loss.  It is the same bruising that comes when I look at the transformation of love to a written code.

Codes of law are for the deviant.  They are not for those who love without restraint.  Beyond the loss of their Natural Freedom,  they have become like the rest of the world; permanently labeled deviant.  And this by a forceful compulsion beyond the dreams of their ancestors who lived long before the law of the Greeks appeared among them.

There is so much to write about this.  So many understandings flood my mind.  From the fact that law is given to man by the wisdom of God, through the indelible stamp of “Guilty” that lays upon all men, and into the regulation of God to restrain the greed that is the nature of man.

The bruise in my heart is to see the loss of freedom.  Perhaps the bruise in my heart is a longing for the place of promise while I live in this place of disrepair.  Perhaps the bruise in my heart is the same engine the prompts fairy tales for children.  Those beautiful stories that remind the child, “Love is still real”.

Love does not need law.  But if you want to see how deviant man has become, look up the code of law for the Greeks.  Visit a library for lawyers.  Every possible infraction against society, and even ourselves, has been written down with its appropriate boundaries and punishments.

What then shall we say about those who call themselves “The Free World”?  The love of God in Christ is the only freedom that has no boundaries.  The love of God in Christ is the only freedom against which there is no law.  The love of God in Christ is the Light that shows me the bruise on my heart.  It is, indeed, a longing for a land from which I did not come.

Useless Revisions

Why does the following slice of logic escape the mind of the “wise”?

You make revisions to the laws of God, and you pat yourself on the back for accomplishing such a grand victory.  But you fail to take notice that the law you have revised is only a copy of the original.

The original law of God remains in heaven and eternity, far beyond the reach of an eraser and pencil.  Tell me then, what is the substance of your so called victories?

Man’s Personal Court

Today is the court of Man.  There is a singular case on the docket: who is true and who is the liar.  Who is the accused?  Who is the plaintiff?

It’s a shell game of two.  When they walked in, did they take their proper seat?  Every officer in the court is one man, you.

Today, you get to be the law.  Today, you are the judge.  There is only one verdict possible.  Choose fatal condemnation for one, and eternal freedom for the other.

What’s at stake?  One of the two who sit before your examination is vital to the security and welfare of all.  The other is an eternal mass murderer.

Today, judgment belongs to Man.  Assess correctly.  Be wise in your questioning.  Choose wrong, and extinction is set free!

“Be silent before me, you islands!
Let the nations renew their strength!
Let them come forward and speak;
let us meet together at the place of judgment.”  (Isaiah 41: 1)

Salvation Belongs to the Willing

Under the cover of darkness, they move with darkness.

Where the knowledge of punishment is diminished,

Man moves about with insolent abandon.

Sin is rapidly becoming a forgotten concept.

In a nation where every infraction against God is condoned,

The people do as they please.

But for the most heinous acts,

(odious, wicked, evil, atrocious, monstrous, abominable, detestable, contemptible, reprehensible, despicable, egregious, horrific, terrible, awful, abhorrent, loathsome, hideous, unspeakable, execrable)

The laws of Man embrace the will of rebellion.

But the blazing Light of God shines regardless.

He mounts His Holy Day.

With steady readiness, the Living God prepares His Judgment.

Eternity has set a time for Man to appear;

That Man will give account of his actions and desires,

This is more sure than the wickedness he loves so dearly.

If you are willing, then seek the Living God’s Holy Son.

There is life within His Holy Wisdom.

But if darkness is your desire,

Then, by all means, employ your ungodly strength.

Under the cover of darkness, they move with darkened intent.

Greed, desire, hatred for what is Good;

This is the will of man.

And God has allowed this time for Man to flex his useless muscles.

Rise and wake, or sleep and die.

The condemnation of all Man’s desires Lives in waiting.

Come.

Gather together in that place reserved for the enemies of God.

Come, fully prepared to receive.

For each man who sins willingly will receive the bounty due his work.

Yet every man who humbles himself before the Living God’s Holy Son

Will receive forgiveness and strength;

No righteous acts will be ascribed to the will of Man,

But the Righteousness of Christ will be ascribed to the ones who honor the Holy Son.

The Law of the Land

Silly people; law is for the rebellious.  ( disclaimer: my apologies to the Trix rabbit.  I have no intention of dragging you into a debate regarding legalism.  You are quite free to desire what you cannot have.)

Across the entire globe, civil law is being instituted:

“You are commanded, by virtue of natural law, to act in accordance with peace among all men.  There shall be no allowance made for recognition of differences between peoples or individuals.  Except as required for the sake of authority.

Equality among all persons shall be the law of the land.  Where one is less, provision shall be made to make him more.  Proverty, of any kind, shall be considered illegal. Reparation to equalize shall be the burden of those who have wealth exceeding equality.

The mention of inequality shall be forbidden, except where it pertains to forced reparations.  Praise for any human condition, value or belief, is hereby commanded by law.

Penalties for disobedience shall be the responsibility of local court.  The foundation of any local court’s authority shall be based on world law.

The forced removal of property, and even the penalty of death, is available as reasonable punitive action.  Common social-geographical opinion is to be taken into consideration for the more severe of penalties.”

If you think this simulation of law is too fanciful to be real, you might want to take a second look at the current legal, political and social trends.  And while you look, do not forget that a “one world order” has been prophesied.

But I did not write this for the sake of prophecy.  I wrote this to expose the folly of man’s rebellion against the Holy One.

Christianity has not gone unnoticed.  Since it cannot be quenched with murder,  the rebellious have determined to annihilate its effectiveness and lure, by institution of similar law.

The new ploy of the enemy of God, is to provide a legalized version of righteousness which mimics the properties of the Holy Spirit within God’s chosen people.

But law can never replace love.  Many will say that such laws are based on love.  By reason of logic alone, I differ greatly.

The laws of man are instituted because he perceives rebelion.  Therefore those who allow themselves to be ruled by such laws are counted as rebels.  And do not allow yourself to be fooled.  Where the law was begun there is no end, only escalation.

Those who try to justify themselves by law stand directly opposed to the grace of God in Christ Jesus.  God the Father has placed the entirety of His grace in His Holy Son.  By this grace salvation is given freely.  Those who attempt to earn salvation by works under law, spit in the face of the mercy of God.

But let the future unfold as it will.  Such laws will surely come to pass.  The salvation of man is at stake (The greatest of possible provocations).  And we are assured that more will elevate themselves by law then will humble themselves in grace.

The pride of man demands it,
While the grace of God is commanded.

Institution vs freedom, pride vs humility, law vs love, godlessness vs godliness.
Which will YOU choose?
