The Definition of Sad

Black, gray, white.

Monotone, color, light.

This world cannot write any story from heaven. It can only speculate, suspicion, imagine, the things of God in Christ.

You want to know what’s sad is?

All the stories of this world will gather together before the throne of God. They will see the Christ of God and attribute to him all their lies. Never having grasped the truth of God, they stand face-to-face with eternal purity.

They never knew the color of truth. To them it was nothing more than shades of black; opinions revered as if they were written from eternity. All of a sudden their lies are eternally exposed. All of a sudden, the foundation of their very souls shatters irreparably.

Having loved their own minds, they despised Truth. They have carried to the valley of decision all their murderous greedy actions. Dressed in wreaking rags, they have become utterly pathetic. Expectations of joy explode into terror. They have not even begun to Become.

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!

Live Sober

Let this be said for the sake of understanding. This saying holds no condemnation, only illumination.

Every time our rebellion against our savior is made public (even in the slightest manner) we become vulnerable to blame for injuring (I would be so bold as to even categorize such as murdering) hope, trust and faith of those who witness us. In short, we are throwing dirt on the gospel of Christ. It’s not possible for unbelievers to understand our failing.

Sometimes we’re just being human and making a mistake, but the effect is the same.

What is our appropriate response? Recognize this and be humbled by it. Let us not boast of our freedom in Christ.

Let us earnestly pray that no one should be blamed where we are at fault. Rather, that blessings of salvation be shed among the forest (like the leaves in the fall) of our victims. Let such ground we have stained be covered that others may be saved.

Be sober.

The Truth

Christ is God. There is no other optional religion. There is one way to eternity. There are not multiple paths to eternal life.

Billions will take offense with that. Well isn’t that why Christ was crucified? There is one God. And by the sovereign God‘s command he has placed himself utterly in Christ Jesus. He will never change his mind, for Christ is unalterably worthy.

Atheist, agnostic, those to adhere who some other form of religion, those who adhere to no religion at all, fence riding Christian, humble yourself and ask. Do not ask once and then walk away dejected. Ask continually.

“I have heard I am nothing without you. I have come to see that what they say is true. If I have one unrighteous act or thought then I am an unrighteous person. But I hear you are righteous. I hear you are compassionate. I hear you can make me whole. Please forgive my sins, giving me a life that is worth living. And teach me to trust that you will never for sake me.”

Become a seeker of God’s Holy Son. You have one life to live. Shouldn’t it be spent searching for what is unalterably true?

The Beginning of the Last Days

Keep them all guessing. Feed the imagination with lies. See how they call it entertainment. Fantasy supersedes reality.

Keep them busy with “nothing“, whilst they ignore the truth of God.

Let them believe in aliens and watch men challenge restraints while they throw away the only truth there is.

Let them ignore the only truth there is. For they have chosen the way of death.

Let them believe in good works. Let them believe that man has the ultimate command upon himself, “save the world“. With that they pay no attention to the grace of God.

Is there a price to pay? It’s already being extracted. And there is no gain left for them to receive.

Fear of Fire

How can God save us from trouble if we always play it safe?

How can he prove his powerful salvation if we never confront our sins?

How can he save us from the murderous lion if we always stay in our home?

We say that God is powerful.

Do we have, have we become, a living testimony?

Fear is not from God.

But he is a consuming and Holy fire.

Look in your imagination.

Do you see the raging flames?

He has not set up the fire to test us.

The fire is what he is!

Those with faith do not stand still.

One foot in front of the other,

They walk into the fire

Allowing it to burn away that which is not God.

Fear and timidity belongs to the flesh.

Boldness, sobriety of mind, fearless trust, and every other good thing, is of God.

Choose to die for the sake of Christ or live in fear all your life.

Choose the latter and that is what you will be on the great and terrifying day.
