Define “Us”

Who are we, that we should have the Holy things of the Living God in Christ Jesus?

Who, indeed, are we?

We live in the very place where The Living God has tested His Holy Son.

Who are we?

He has given us His Holy Spirit, that we may “become”.

Who are we?

This same testing is upon us.

Who are we?

For His Majesty alone we dance before Him among wickedness profuse.

Who are we?

We are drawn out of chaos, set before His Holy face, and bid to walk like men.

Who are we?

We are promised eternal life, exclusively for His Majestic purpose from eternity.

Who are we?

Let any of us answer, it will be full of fault.  Who are we to speak of such things?

Who are we?

Yet the power of the Eternal Living God lives in us, even the very Christ of God!

Who are we?

We are given to rise up as one, in He who is One.

That is who we are.

Describe this, it is impossible.

Yet as surely as the Living God’s Christ is given all things, so we are.

We are His Holy promise!

We are His Holy will in this place of testing.

We are bound tward His Holy promised eternity.

That is who we are.

How many of us will rise to embrace the things we are?

His wisdom stretches out to perform His Holy will among us.

Who will reach out to take His wise limit for this day’s work?

May the coming night of this day testify what we have become.

That will mark who we are; as far as our tiny minds can comprehend.

I could go on for days like this, writing the questions.

Yet, how shall that do any “Good”?

I must go and do the will of the Living God in Christ, His Holy Son.

Let us go then and prove by faithful doing who we are.

May the will of God be done among all His chosen people.

He alone has chosen all of us, by His Holy Wisdom.

That is who we are.

The Hopeful One Endures

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” (John 3:36)

If the Lord’s eternal word says that a man shall die for his sins and rebellious soul, that man shall surely die.  Likewise, if a man turns his will to obey the Living God’s commands, that man will find himself living.  And this life is eternal life.  For what cannot be shaken remains forever.

What produces the man who enters into an eternal living here, in this place of testing?  Isn’t it the fear of the Living God?  Isn’t it that the man believes what the Word of God has proclaimed regarding life and death?

But shall the man who finds himself living the eternal life here remain in fear?  Doesn’t it depend on his willingness to be diligent in the things he learns?  Doesn’t a man’s love follow the things he desires?  If he desires the kiss of God, then he will desire to love Him.

The scripture above is fear to those who perceive with a weakened will.  But it is a proclamation of love to those who willingly train themselves to obey what they learn.  For they have come to live inside trust.  They have come to desire a love for God’s Holy Son.

The trust God’s people have comes from a living faith that cannot be shaken.  Even if they are “injured” by a Holy Blast of Condemnation from the Living God, they survive into a holy hope.  For such people perceive that purity is the desire of their God, Christ Jesus.  How can they be shaken then, by the threats of this world, or even their own faults?  For they have come to adhere to the following hope:

“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
nor be weary when reproved by him.

For the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.” (Hebrews 12: 5, 6)
Their fear is transformed, over time, to a love for He who rebukes toward the health of their soul.  By this, the wrath of God is endured before the Judgment Day, that they might become like His Holy Son.

What condemnation can be given to he who has willingly obeyed the Lord’s commands to purify himself?  And won’t the Son of God direct his commands toward what the man can accomplish?  Like His Holy Father, the Son does not EVER ask too much.

Don’t Stop!

40 “And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him, ‘If you will, you can make me clean.’ 41 Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, ‘I will; be clean.'” (Mark 1)

Man has a problem.  He kneals before Jesus.   He asks if God is willing to help him.  The answer comes: “I am willing”, and healing appears.

.The unjust judge.

.The neighbor in bed.

.”Do not worry little flock.  Your heavenly father knows you need these things.”

.”Jesus had pity on them.”

How many times do we read that God is willing?  How many times do we ask?  Still healing does not come.  Still suffering attends our everyday.  Still we ask.  Yet we do not see the hand of God move.

Shall we give up?  Shall we conclude that the power of God is not among us?  Shall we stop being Christians?  Shall we leave “The Faith”, and turn to empty religious worship?

Perhaps instead of asking for healing we got to ask to be taught how to ask.  And if still no healing comes, nor understanding to ask, perhaps it is our lot to endure.  Then let us ask for endurance!

In all things God is good!  Believe this, and you move from death to life.  Just don’t stop asking!  Just don’t stop believing!

I have come to refer to this world as a place of testing.  This is true.  God will test every heart that lives. Therefore allow yourself to be tested and approved; that you may bring glory to the Holy One.

By His Grace

Prayer Against Fear

Mighty and Righteous Holy Lord, You who lives forever by the Righteous Judgement of the Sovereign God.  You are trustworthy and true.  No doubt is born of you!  But by Holy union, you cause us to believe.

There is no fear that shall overtake us, if we will but lay down our pride and accept your glorious gift of life.  The Holy Father himself has declared this to be true.

Therefore we surrender as we find ourselves able.  We have called our fear humility, and we are in error.   Open our eyes that we may see and believe.

We beg you for strength, simply to believe.  We are weak in our way, please accept our apology.  But grant us wisdom to understand!

For you cannot lie and you have sealed your promise in the Holy Blood of your Holy and faithful Son.  Though our weakness is blatant, we beg you for mercy.  For we have not understood as we should.

Cause growth to our faith!  Let us rise up and believe.  Let us defend your Holy Name, in this place of testing; this by our firm trust and patient doing.

You have displayed your intent in the greatest of possible love.  Therefore give us the gift of faith.  Do not allow your people to rest in the faith of man.  Rather transform us into The Holy Faith of your Holy Way.

Then you will have what is rightfully yours; a people separated from the wickedness of this rebellion against your Holy Law.

All day long and even into the night, temptation assails, and in our weakness we are tossed about.  Send understanding O’ Sovereign One!

You lack by our weakness toward fear.  We are bent toward fear as the trees along the ocean are bent by the constant wind.  Holy One, this should not be!

Come among us and give us strength to serve, that your bounty may be evident before your Holy Throne!  Come and  cause to be, what is rightfully yours.

By the Holy Name of your Holy Christ, the perfect and faithful One, grant that we should rise and believe.

Willing Darkness

I sad song for a happy throng

The world is no refuge.  Because the blazing glory of God is not evident, men put their trust in the darkness of this place.  But this darkness is no refuge.

They say,  “We will face Him when we leave, when we are compelled to appear.”  And so they embrace the darkness which is embracing them even now.  A mutual love is exchanged from dark to dark. But this dark world is no refuge.

The Lord God Almighty shields his blazing glory from those who live on earth.  He has built this place of testing to test the hearts of men.  “Who will love Me; who will desire my ways?   Though they thrive in darkness, who will understand?

They drink from what is wicked and their tongue does not alarm.  They stumble in the darkness but they do not ask for light.  All their days are toil against an enemy they cannot see.  So they make up fables and lies to cover their ignorance.”  But the glory of God is not quenched.

He is from forever and will never cease to be.  Man is of 60 short years perhaps 100.  Thus the darkness consumes them and they think their life is royal.  They allow for truth that is no truth at all.

Then they leave this place of testing and are compelled to appear before the Most High God.  No preparation is made.  No time is found to honor he who lives forever.  No words of praise will come from their lips.  They will be silent and afraid in their shame.

They say they trust in Jesus to save them on that day.  But they do not honor the Holy One while they live in this place of testing.  They give no honor to the One of God’s choosing.   How will they be received with honor?  They have lived as if his enemy.  How then shall they be received?

God is honored by the Holy, glorious throng.  It is man who detests to give praise to the God who has made them.  But honor will surely flow, despite their rebellious souls.

You wait in this place of darkness and cover the eyes of your soul.  “I will praise him when he calls for me.  Until then I will do whatever my heart desires.  I will adhere to the laws of this land.  I will be blameless among my brothers.  We will work together and create a peaceful place.  And the Lord will count us good men when He calls us to appear.”

But you do not perceive that such testimony condemns you.  You do not know nor ask.  The Lord sees from his glorious throne.  He sees that you postpone your honor to him.  He sees that you desire the love of men more than the love of God.  What will he say when you are called to appear?  What testimony will you bear before him that you have loved him?

Arrant Chads of Wicked Men.

“He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 ‘I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.’” (Psalm 2)

They hate the Lord and perceive Him as a wicked task master because their ways are wicked and arrant.  They are blown about by every wind of desire that enters their wicked mind.  They do not know His Holy commands.  They do not know His salvation in Jesus.  Therefore they cannot obey.

God dresses the humble in righteous desire.  But His opposition is forward at the proud.  He steadfastly denies hope to all who lift their chin in rebellion.

Let them humble their hearts.  Let them consider their sins. Let then admit that they have not known the Path of God in this “Place of Testing”.   Let them come to know that the Lord is Good, by fear of God.  Let the terror of punishment fill their hearts to over flowing.

Then the Lord will show kindness.  Then, and only then, will they perceive rightly the beauty that is God the Father.  And if they continue in that manner, perhaps the Father will draw them to His Holy Son.  By continuance in the humble posture of heart the wicked learn that loving God is proper.  And their continuance provokes the Mercy of the Most High God.
