Do Not Be Careless

I have learned the hard way, and often, that if a man rests in this world’s things the flesh will overtake him.  If a man is not diligent to do the things of the Living God’s Holy Christ, spiritual righteousness will not overtake him.  He will be overtaken by utter unrighteousness.  If anyone believes otherwise, I would like him to explain to me Philippians 2:12.

It is important, imperative, to remember:  Christ is the love of God made manifest.  But he is also the manifestation of his Father’s Holiness and Righteousness.

Do not be deceived by the careless many.  It is the one who does the Father’s will that secures the friendship of Christ.

Walk Away and Walk Away

Walk away.

Walk Away!

Just get out of there,

Lest you get hurt.

That thing’s bound to fall.

It will render what’s tall,

To a red spot,

Right there in the dirt!

The man took the heed,

Put air ‘gainst his knees,

Obeying the need,

To “Walk Away”.
—————–
Now another man heard

What seemed quite absurd;

“Walk away from that sin,

And you’ll live”.

“I can’t leave my mind!

The place where I find,

Temptation lays

Waiting in blind.”

Then the Lord, in his

Excellent wisdom

Spoke clear:

I’ll tell you straight to

What I mean.

Do not think your feet

Must straight pace away.

Do not give a place

For obscene.

But dwell hard

On the things

That are clean.
———–
One walked away.

Then twas two

Walked away.

Each of them finding

A bright and clear day.

A man and his God

Taking care what they say.

That life may come,

Raining down.
———–
One man may grab

The TV remote,

Changing channels,

He thinks he is fine.

Another man turns

The stupid thing off,

Letting  Holy

Fill his weak mind.

“Things”

The day is fast approaching when I will leave this place.  Every material item in my charge will remain here.  You are welcome to take it. Use it as you please.

Only the ones who live in this place of testing, desire such things.  I have used them but I don’t desire them.  What I desire cannot be perceived by any of our senses.

You will have these things and you will think about them.  The moment I leave this place they will be forgotten forever.  What do I care who gets them or what they do with them?

The one who is held hostage, remains so, because he desires the things that can be taken away.  The one who desires the things men cannot touch or perceive, this one is free!

Pushed

I got used to it.  So did you.  A long time ago, perhaps before we were born, we got used to it.

There was plenty of things to keep me busy.  So it didn’t matter that I was being forced to move beyond my will.

Oh, there were times when I really, really, desired to remain in a certain place a while longer.  But the push came anyway.  I got used to even this annoying aspect of life.

Let a man push me like time does and I’ll grow angry at him.  But his push is momentary.  And time comes along to push me past that point also.  So I get used to it.

WHAT’S THAT ON THE HORIZON?

There’s a light approaching.  I’ve heard about this place.  “I don’t want to go”.  But the familiar push comes anyway.

Compelled, we are.  We will enter that contractual closure.  We were handed a certificate of life when sperm met egg.  That certificate expires on the separation of soul and body.

“I don’t want to go”.  But I’m so used to being pushed that I forget to even give consideration to that hand at my back.

My skin rips away.  Muscles leave me.  Bones no longer support.  Restraint is gone.  But another certificate of contract is applied to me now.

Something comes to mind.  Even in this place of pushing, something comes to mind.   What is the substance of that contract which will replace the one I am currently living under?

Will it be life?  Will it be death?  Now is the moment to choose.

Time is the invention of the One who pushed me toward that eternal contract.   He has allowed me to taste this temporal contract.  And has warned me sufficiently about the contract which lay on the horizon.

Here it comes.  HEY!!!!!!  YOU!!!!!   Stop fiddling around with that gadget and look up!  Listen to me!  But the man looks up with dazed eyes and groping hands.  He wants that gadget.  He’s got no interest in what I’m trying to tell him.

He too is being pushed.  His contract will terminate.  A new one will be applied.  What then?

Sitting Bull’s revelation

” I will give them to you because they have no ears”  this was spoken in a revelation to sitting Bull.  In a very short time Custer and all his men were given into the hands of the Indians.

Does this mean that Jesus blessed the Indians because they were righteous?  If it should have anything to do with the righteousness of men it would be the unrighteousness of the white man’s encroachment on Indian land for the sake of greed.  And that such people would not listen to reason from the Holy Lord of life.

The white man was not listening to what is true.  But let us not ignore the fact that Indians embraced slavery and all kinds of violence for the sake of gain.  It was not your purity of religion that God was looking at it was purity of will to listen and to obey.

What stands out more clearly to me is the sovereignty of God over all men.  And we should not consider it strange that God should speak to the Indians without the gospel.  For the judgment of God will be rendered to all men regardless their nationality customs or religion.  And let us not forget what he himself has said, “Out of the mouths of babes you have ordained praise”.

Be careful not to discount what I have written here because it has to do with a revelation to Indians.  Instead let us consider carefully that God is sovereign in his judgment and actions among the dealings of men.

“To he who has more will be given and he will have in abundance.  But he who does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him”.

By His Grace.

The Lord of Testing

Red Rose

When The Rose of Life draws near to whisper

The path of His becomes much lighter.

We see with eyes which know no bounds.

And hear such lovely joyous sounds.

We speak with words that don’t belong

To the valley below, from whence we spawned.

To misstep now and lose that ground.

To feel the void of soundless sound.

We find that we, though heaven bound,

Are yet in flesh and wanting, how profound.
