I know that others will have their own testimony.  But I am so filled this morning that I find it necessary to dump some words.  Rather than leave them clinging to the walls, dripping from the ceiling, or hidden in the carpet, I thought it good to place them here.

I am consumed with the things of God.  And I find it so beautiful that this causes me absolutely no shame.  In fact, I would rather that the consuming become a raging fire within me that will never quench.

As I said, I know that my brothers and sisters have the same testimony.  But I just couldn’t leave those words unspoken.

I looked to the right of the screen to see what tags I would connect to this post.  I smile as I look at them.   I say to myself, “Fine!  All of you are welcome to support what I say here.  Come take your place, that this message might be available to every possible search a man might make.  Isn’t that the purpose of this message?

May God be Glorified by His servant.  Though I may well be least among His people, yet I rise a million miles from where He found me groveling in my own putrid mess.  Glory to He who is the Living God!  Amen.

“I Could Have Told You Vincent”

“But I could have told you, Vincent, This world was never meant for one. As beautiful as you.”  Don Mclean sung words which he did not understand the full meaning to.  Others have sung another song: “This world is not my home, I’m just a passing through.”  Indeed, this world was never meant as a home to those who serve Love.  There is a place where God’s people are destined to appear.  Yet, until we reach that place we will be utterly misunderstood and cast out of the world’s favor.  “They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated the world was not worthy of them.”

“How you suffered for your sanity.  How you tried to set them free.  They did not listen, they did not know how.  Perhaps they’ll listen now.”  Then the words render a different note of horror:  “. . . perhaps they never will.”  What is it to us if they listen or not?  We are bound by the Glory of God to testify!   And testify I will, regardless the response!

Were these words spoken as a testimony to your faith in Jesus, would you feel the power of that testimony?  Could they be spoken of you?  Will you permit me to ask you a question without turning toward pride?  What is stopping you from becoming a blazing flame of testimony for the One who has redeemed you?

By His Grace.

Captured and Released to a Better Promise

All day long, every day, and that without faltering, He holds out His Gorgeous hands to a withering people. His strength is Great and He is not dismayed. His people know Him who calls from Heaven. And through them He has commanded the giving of His testimony. We are a people cut from the dust to serve the Living God of eternity.

You are one of His; captured and released to a better promise. Stand strong and brave, bold and ceaseless in your testimony on His behalf. We are very near the end of our time and the times.

To all who worship Him in truth and spirit, shake all sin from your limbs. The time is here to act with great and sure steps. We are His! There is none like Him and we testify to His Glory.

By His Grace.
