Please Hear This

The Lord reasons with me this morning.  I don’t desire to make anyone feel bad, or compel them to do what they do not find themselves able or willing to do.  But how can I keep this to myself?

How many centuries has our Lord been diligent to save souls?  What great strength of patience and faithfulness has the Lord shown us, as the world rebells against him, and his people so blatantly lack faith?

Then the urgent question comes: Are we, who have received his Great Mercy, unwilling to struggle with him for a few short years?

No one answers to me.  Who am I that I should matter?  But isn’t there One to whom we do answer?  And isn’t the answer found in the doing?

Who Will Love Jesus?

The work of God among us
Is the saving of unholy souls.
Who is willing to join him
In his Holy and righteous work?

First to those who believe,
That they may understand.
And then to the masses,
Who lack understanding,
That they too might “become”.

Who will respond to the call of God?
Who will fulfill his desire?
With blazing strength he will clothe,
With the fearlessness of fire.

When the Son of man returns,
Will he find “The Faith” on the earth?

The call of Ezekiel
Belongs to God’s people.
Ezekiel 3: 17-21

“If you love me you will keep My commandments.”
The size of the harvest is given into the hands of men.
Are we not commanded to go to the field and work?

God Cannot Lie

The salvation of men is in heaven.  Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Holy Father of Life.  The condemnation of man, for all his wickedness, also is in heaven.  For Jesus is the fulfillment of the law.

In John 3:13 I find something very interesting.  Jesus is speaking to Nicodemus.  And Jesus refers to himself as “the Son of man who is in heaven”. (NKJV)  One might ask, “How can he be in heaven when he sitting here talking to Nicodemus”.  Jesus is in heaven, while speaking to Nicodemus, because he has come from heaven; as if the finger of God has landed on Earth.

Heaven is not a physical place, as most the people of Earth believe.  It is a matter of belonging and becoming.  It is a state of being, to which a man must be transferred by the power of Christ.

I mention this because it brings to bear something that people conveniently forget.  Though there is a difference between flesh and spirit, there is no difference in belonging.

Those who do not belong to Christ stand condemned already because their condemnation sits with the Holy Father.  And to our great joy, those who receive and obey the grace of God in Christ are already in heaven.  For their salvation sits with the Holy Father.

Those who belong to this world will reap the benefit that is due all wickedness.  Those who humble themselves and believe the message of God in Christ will reap the beautiful promises of life.  For God has seen their hearts, received the confession of their mouth, and has promised them on oath.

It is interesting to me how the wicked apropriate the good promises of God.  By some perverted means, they attribute salvation to themselves with no apparent fruit.  They have a hope, but no proof of it in their soul.  They are from the earth, they are within the earth’s beliefs, and their condemnation waits for them.

While this is true for the wicked who do not believe (toward “The Becoming”),  I often find that those who believe in Christ suffer under confusion and doubt.  So I have stated these things here to give encouragement.

A man belongs to the place he obeys.  And the proof of our belonging is within every man.  The wicked do not strive to obey.  They simply believe with no foundation, or proof, within themselves.  They seek to enter where they do not belong.

But the purchased of Christ will find themselves embroiled in an internal war.  They cannot be at peace in this place, for the Spirit of God lives in them to war against the desires of the flesh.  The war within the Christian should be proof to him that he is already in heaven.  God cannot lie.

There is no war in the wicked.  They war among one another for the sake of selfish greed.  They even go so far as to apropriate what is not theirs from the Holy Throne of the Living God.  But the outcome of the wicked and the outcome of the Christian are sealed forever in Christ the King.  It is impossible for God to lie.

To Marvel is no Proof at All

What value is the man who only marvels at Christ Jesus?  We are told that every man who ever lived will do that.  Even the most vile of humanity will bow his knee and give glory to Christ Jesus.

What can be said of the man who marvels and obeys?  We are told there are few who will ever do that.  What makes the difference between the few and the many?

We can do nothing without him.  And what we do is an extension of who we have become.  What can be said then of the man who marvels, yet becomes nothing?

If I see a king and marvel at the things he has, I need give him no respect in order to marvel.  But if I adore the king, I think it right and just that he should be adorned in royalty.  Yet how can I adore him if I do not know him?

The wicked man may look on the riches of the king and desire them out of greed or envy.  But the righteous servant will love the king, and rightly desire him to be blessed.

The wicked man will be a difficult citizen of the land.  But the righteous man will be a blessing to the one who rules.  True righteousness then, is not a product of citizenship.  True Christianity is not a membership in a club.

As such things are so here, they will be vastly more so in heaven.  If you do not love the Lord Jesus, it would be good for you to fall in prayer and confess.  Let him dress you in love, as he reveals who he is.

The wicked man will never hear, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant”.  But the one who is taught to love the Holy Lord,  can look forward to such a kiss in his ear.

This transformation is not something a man can conjure up from his own mind.  If that were so, the ingenuity of man would make the few many.  It must be received; it must be revealed from the Lord Himself.

No man has ever truly loved a woman he has never met.  How can a man be married to no one?  But let the man meet the woman who rings true in his soul, and he will love her unto death.  A willing love is provided by true respect.

This provokes the difference between religion and “The Faith”.  This provokes those coveted words from the Holy One on that great day.  This makes the difference between the few and the many.

The Nearing Night

Deep, dark shadows on the land,

Cut their swath cross the mass of men.

Those with blazing faces stand,

To worship Christ the Lord.

Night is nearing; shadows long.

Invisible to the wicked throng.

The righteous stand and sing their song:

“All glory to God and the lamb!”

Will be a dreadful day, I’m told,

When the world will loose its gripping hold.

Sending righteous souls to  their new home,

To reverence Christ the King.

The world loves chaos.  For in the darkness of confusion a lie can go unseen.  There is gain to be had at the expense of another’s life.  And men abound who are drooling at the mouth to take advantage.

These men are not wise.  There is no need to fear them.  They only plot to take away the things of this world.

Though they plot to overtake, they have no wisdom on which their plot will stand.  They are like dumb animals who simply stare into the woods and wait for prey to appear.  Do not fear them.  Though their plots should even to take your life, have faith!

In the midst of noise and confusion they watch and wait.  This is the epitome of their wisdom.  They bang their drum and flash their lights. They reach to all their tools of wickedness, and with all great expectation of hope.  They are sure they will overcome and destroy.

Let them have their day.  There is one who lies in wait for such.  His tools, to which he reaches for their sake, are Eternal and Holy.  He watches the thicket of men with great knowledge.  Let them have their day.  There is a still small voice which cannot be disturbed by the chaos of men, “Let them have their day.”

Let them stack up their deeds unto heaven!  Let them build and contrive, destroy and consume.  Though they are vigorous and youthful now, they will be not but a puff of dust before the Holy One.  Let them have their day.

Their greedy hand reaches out, and I will spit on it with contempt.  Take what you will from what I have; that which your greedy eye desires.  I have treasures eternal which you know nothing about.  Things you have not seen nor even pondered.

I have seen it myself; how the wicked are destroyed in their way, even as they take the next stride.  I have witnessed judgement fall on them like the darkest of night.  Shame covered them and they had no answer for their lack.  I have seen it even here.

From where does the boldness come that I speak in this place with such surety?  I have seen the folly of man!

The living God, in Christ Jesus His Holy Son, has taught us what is true.  I for one will take these teachings with great abandon.  Join me.

As the Lord lothes those who are faithless, for they do not obey His Word, so I will let the holy hatred of evil rise up in me.  I will count their vigor as the greatest of stench.  And what I have loved before will be replaced by what will last forever.  I will embrace what is Holy.  I will search to follow he who lives forever.

The living God has come among us!  Walk in His Holy way.   Amen!
