What IS

Israel is understood; God will protect them until His time is full. So it is with the Israelites, so it is with the gentiles.

What is not noticed readily;

Ukraine.

There are the Jews, and there are the gentiles.
God is God of them both.

As God whispers in the ears of his people the Jews, so he whispers in the ears of gentiles.

The living God is God of both.
The living God is God of all.

The monsters will be ravished by the mouse,
For this, is God’s will .

Who will stand against Him?
Who even notices?

Allow your self to be astounded.
Open your eyes.
Open your ears.
Take note before even your time is finished.

Choose

The process of becoming the Christian you want to be is to stop being the Christian you presently are.

Think and choose. Remember and apply. Stop simply reacting to emotion. Stop staring at circumstances.

The Spirit of Christ does not live in the flesh. He is in heaven and from heaven.

Think Eternity. Look at Him. Listen to what you see. Don’t bother to look at your failings. Since when have they delivered you any profit?

Set your mind and your soul on Christ. You will only prosper as much as you make that your life.

Who is Ready

Am I ready for my time:

To speak of such from the body.

I think of the sky above.

That moment of passing through – The sun, the moon, the clouds and airborne creatures.

But no.

I think of the earth below

and the wind which moves upon it – support no more for my fragile frame.

The eyes, deeds and words of man –

Blinded, stilled and silenced.

To escape without moving.

Such odd thoughts appropriate.

All my knowledge gone:

A Candleflame snuffed out with no wisp of smoke remaining.

Dreams are no more;

Reality burst forth.

With all I know

I cannot say

I am ready for my time.

Mastery

A Master of martial arts has not mastered punching or kicking. It is not that he has mastered self control. What he has mastered is the art of practice.

He has set his mind to pay attention to everything he thinks and does. In this mastery of awareness, the master practices immediate restraint. If there is any lapse in judgment or action, the master quickly brings it back under control.

Mastery of martial arts does not apply only to battle. It applies to absolutely everything under his control. He takes great care of his “world“.

We speak of doctors as practicing medicine. They are thoroughly embroiled in their work, whether they are on duty or off. We speak of jobs as professions. Consider that if we profess something is true, it would be best if such things are true. The master of any profession then has mastered the art of restraint for the sake of what he says He does for a living.

A professional driver, a professional lawyer, a professional labor, a professional teacher, a professional politician, a professional human being, a professional Christian.

Violent Weakness

He hurt.

So he hurt.

That’s all he knew how to do.

I’d reckon the same

Is to often

True of you.

Serve Self?

Let common sense rule.

Every servant serves a master. He who serves himself is no servant at all. Doesn’t he make himself his own domain; King and the subjects over which he rules. Can anyone say “folly”? And no servant is allowed to serve two masters, such a man will not serve either one with integrity.

We are servants to the one we obey. Fidelity is the target. Either a man serves chaos or seeks, with all he has, to serve purity.
