Insatiable Demand

Every law ever instituted by man is meant to curb his rebellious nature. But no sooner are laws instituted, and we find people inventing ways to satisfy their longing for selfish wickedness.

To point this out is likely useless. Consider this example: speed limits are set to protect the people from simple errors. But unless the policeman is visible, the people will speed 5, 10, 15 miles over the limit.

Crime is not limited to those violations of law that can land a man in prison. Look down the road considerably farther. God is Holy and Perfect. If a man will break a small law of humanity, he is already willing to break God’s laws in heaven.

God has set the boundaries of his law to protect perfection.

What does this mean to us? With a little bit of thought, the meaning becomes glaringly obvious. The more we think about it, the more terrifying is our insatiable demand.

Who is bold enough to receive God‘s righteous restraints?

Destroyed From Within

Sitting here this morning thinking of the things in America. I am amazed. That the voices of divisive ignorance are so loud. I am astounded. That there are so many who agree with this divisiveness. They say yes to the “spinners”. The leaders do not fear death, they fear the volume of stupidity.

Still, the destroyer is not satisfied. For America still has soundness in her bones.

It is like the garden that was planted is being overrun with fools whose hands are full of seeds from weeds. What they are planting is not edible and it surely chokes out the food.

I just shake my head in dismay. The streets are becoming populated with screaming insanity. The homes are divided before the child is born. Righteous wisdom is refused.

What then is to be the outcome?

Our Violent Preoccupation

No man is capable of doing the things we say are expected of him, anymore than we ourselves can produce a crop of pure righteousness.

Why then do you ridicule your brother? Why do you say he is worthless? Isn’t it because you yourself can’t have what you want? Isn’t it because, in your own wicked eye, you perceive that he has taken something from you?

Have you been to truth? Have you been to the truth that devastates every man? Have you tasted your own condemnation? How many things have you denied your fellow man? How many things have you robbed from others simply because you exist?!

I propose your mouth would slam shut at the revealing of your own sin! That day is most assuredly coming.

The truth of Christ calls out in the streets, in your home, and in your own soul. Yet who will listen voluntarily? Who will listen until he rocks back-and-forth, recognizing his own helplessness?

Do not say you love God while you bash your brother’s soul against the rocks!

I write this as one of you. If Our God had not convicted me of my sins and taught me what is true, like you I would have nothing to say. But because I have seen what is true, (and am devastated) I am compelled to join Him in crying out in the streets. I am nothing, Christ is ALL.

Go to God in prayer. Confess your own failings. If you think you have none, ask him to show you. He is happy to reveal as much as you can stand.

I guarantee, any man to whom his sin is shown will drive his own face to the dust with remorse. His boasting, his hatred for his brothers, his sense of self righteousness, and his expectations of perfection from others will diminish radically.

Stop your ridiculous onslaught against your brother, humble yourself before God, and receive the truth.

If not today, when? Our days are numbered. The sum of them will come. Who do you want to be? Stop being preoccupied with your brother’s failings. Take a long hard look at your own.

Seek HIM!

Fake news, worthless ranting, irritating prophecy, spiritual carpetbaggers? Judge for yourself, the nature of what is today.

It is man’s worthless idea that the earth should be full of peace and tranquility. Look around, has it ever been true? Christ even told his select people that in this world they would have great trouble. How should it be better for those who will not except Christ’s Authority over them?

As bad as things are in the world today, it WILL get greatly worse.

Do not wait until you are face-to-face with The Living God.

I wrote this this morning for Facebook. It didn’t seem right not to share it here.

Facebook shares memories of time past. So this morning I’m going to use that.

Assuming that I will still be here in a couple of years, perhaps five, I’m going to write what I see this morning.

The coming day of judgment:

It is an open and desolate place for those without Christ. It is a place of compulsory gathering. It is an utterly darkened and foreboding place; as if in comparison to our experience here, it is like the darkest of nights with the thickest a fog about us. A place unfamiliar, a place of no resources to defend ourselves, a place of living threat, and a place of endless fear.

All the while, the sounds of thundering, hungry, and intense ministers of God wait to do his will. The total silence of the place allows the ear to hear every movement of those holy servants of God.

If ever man has feared, he will be in extreme agony there while he awaits his own personal and eternal words of judgment to be spoken against him. And in that place, there are billions of souls who wait.

Millions and millions are the servants of the Lord. Let your mind paint as vicious a creature as you can. They will purify the house of God, eternity will not make room for God’s enemies. God is Life, in him there is no room for impurities or death.

With the speed of light and the strength of freed lightning they will snatch away and devour as God pronounces each judgment. Without regard for each judged soul, they will immediately put him in his proper place.

Naked and helpless, there is no place there to hide.

Now I speak of these things on a day called “today”, and here I have opportunity to reflect. This is the day of salvation. In this abundant place, I am allowed to consider all these things and respond with an appropriate fear of God.

“Today” is the day to make peace with the Living God through Christ Jesus, His Holy, Honorable, and faithful Witness. “Today” brings the opportunity for forgiveness of your sins and cleansing through a repentant heart. No one who stands in the field of judgment is there by mistake.

I have not had a vision from God about this. I got this from reading the book of Joel, as anyone else who can read can read for themselves. As a person reads the book of Joel his imagination set on fire.

But the day of the Lord will be vastly more than the man’s imagination can paint. It is absolutely sure to come. And it will be absolutely stark and personal.

Today is the day of salvation!

May the man I will be, when this post is brought up in Facebook as a memory, be in vastly better prepared to receive the things of Christ.

Needless to say, I’m going to go to prayer now.

“You will adore everything that belongs to the nature of destruction.  You will sing songs about lewdness.  You will wonder about God but never seek the answers.  (if you happen to fall on a reasonable answer turn it in for examination and go your way)  Let it be enough that you adore religion.  

You will listen to the father of lies, never questioning why.  For he is the only truth you will know.  Death, oblivion, uselessness, jokes about what is Holy, and violence, these will be the trappings of your religion.  Enjoy your life, until we are unified in the place that is marked out for us.

Society, constructed by a simple instrument; preformed for a single purpose; wrapped around the souls of the masses.  Debase humanity.   Elevate depravity.

    And how the world marvels at the work of its own hands.  Oh, how they adore the classroom.  

The world will love its own. 

 Amazingly, how many see such things and don’t even question why. 

 How are these things any different than the Roman Colosseum?  

How are they different than the Assyrian parade of captives, led through the streets with rings in their noses attached to one another by a string?  Lives, destroyed and sold for the price of a flea.  The hope of family shattered with every painful step.  How the people cheered and applauded the “victor”.

So: the slaves – paid well and even honored to be educated hypocrites.  

What shall be said about the populace?  The taste of blood on their lips, they teach their children the same.  All the while they praise themselves for retaining innocence in the babes (retaining with a series of fables and lies).  Waiting with bated breath for maturity, so that they can enjoy depravity together as a family.  

Filthy, filthy, filthy souls!

 What day is it, that we do not even need to be in attendance at the Colosseum to witness blood? 

 The public is despicably entertained by the suffering of others. 😢  

But, “The People of The Christ”?
