The Definition of Beauty

It is not my clothing that makes me beautiful. It is not the most exquisite possession that makes me important. It is not the agility of my flesh or mind, nor formidable power of my heroic will. 

It is that the will of God works in me to accomplish the will of God. This makes me eternally valuable and pristinely beautiful. Such beauty is not open for debate.  


It is so with everyone of his people whom he himself has called.  


Jesus is first. Jesus IS. Jesus forever will be: the beauty of God, the majesty of God, the preeminence of God, and Life.  


Value what you will, nothing on earth or in the imagination of man, can compare to the Glory of the Living God’s Holy Son; The Lord of HIS glory – both in this place and forever sealed in HIS temple.

God’s Never Wrong

I saw a man sitting on the ground holding a straw and pushing two rocks back and forth.  I just had to ask.

“What are you doing?”  he stopped and looked up at me with sort of a silly smile.  “I’m trying to prove God wrong.”

“Well are you having any success?”

“None that I can see.”

“If you don’t mind my asking, how does pushing two rocks around with a straw prove God wrong?”

“He told me that playing games has no value at all, but doing everything I should and spending time with him was eternally priceless.  I’m pretty sure he’s right.  I’m absolutely no better off than when I started to push these rocks.”

“Well that’s not exactly true sir.”

“Okay I’m listening.”

“You’ve learned that you can’t prove God wrong.”

“Well said.”

And with that, I turned to go and do what I should.

Profits

The prophet of God is valuable.  Who then are they who disagree?

There is profit in the words of the prophet of God.  Who then are they who disbelieve?

It is intriguing that men prefer to ignore the messengers of God, when profit and loss are household concepts.  By this we can say that men are, by their very nature, lousy accountants.

For this they run the business of their life as if to fail.  Yet in business, they will kill to succeed.  Why does this tiny wisdom escape them?

It is impossible to correctly speak of the poverty of man.  Just as it is impossible to speak of the riches of God.

When we see Him face to face, we will understand.  Until then, profit comes by faith.  All the while poverty abides in flesh.

Do not be fooled, a man is what he believes.  Profit or loss, which do you choose?
