You never know, lyrics

40 years of livin, 40 years of love
A lifetime full of living for his good lord up above.
Grandpa was a quiet man who rarely spoke a word.
But through the things he never said he was always heard.
Quite the man of passion; believer in the truth.
Everything a man should be.
The hero of my youth.
Though he never meant to,
it never crossed his mind,
That he would sow the seed in me
that stood the test of time.

Never know who’s listening, you never know who sees, the results from the time you spend living on your knees.   You never know just where your life will show.  You never know.  You never know.

Now a little older.
Some days even wise.
The legacy is passed to me.
And now I realize,
someone maybe looking close
at everything you do.
The road for them that leads to him
Just might run through you.

Never know who’s listening, you never know who sees, the results from the time you spend living on your knees.   You never know just where your life will show.  You never know.  You never know

Steal, steel,  two spellings.  Two definitions.   Two uses.  Same affect.

The world around us invents more tools to steal man’s heart away from their Maker.  If it cant rob our affections,  it intends  to make our hearts like cold steel.

Fire it up!  Put a death grip around it!  Hang on tight to the very end.

Help wanted

The split second we leave this place, our work for the Lord is done.  Today we work by faith.  Then we shall see him as he is, where is faith then?

How you doing with your stack of Glories for the Lord?  He has a lot of work to do.  And he’s still looking for workers.  Any takers?

Don’t worry about being capable, he trains us on the job.

Don’t worry about being scared.  No matter how long you do it you’ll still be scared.  Consider it an occupational hazard.  The bumps bruises cuts and jabs are real.  If you don’t have a stout hearted love for Jesus I’d suggest you wait this offer out.

Nonetheless we will all appear before him to give him what is his.  Maybe the work some need to do is to foster that love for the Lord.

The mind of Christ

“’Who has known the mind of the Lord
    so as to instruct him?’
But we have the mind of Christ.”

While the world is debating the existence of God, or that he even cares about this place, His people are busily having conversations with Him.

While the world celebrates santa claus, Christian’s are hovering over a certain place in a distant land 2000 years ago.

And while the world markets the winter season for the sake of money, Christians are breathlessly taking in the price that was paid for their soul.

The world has the mind of satan.  Christians have the mind of God.  Merry Christmas brothers and sisters!

A herd of pets?

Who in government still supports the will of the people.  If you think they all do you are certifiably delusional.

The people in government today are there because they are hungry to share the spoils of the richest nation on earth.  If they were naive when they arrived they are no longer so.

Trust in government if you wish.  Treat it as if it is your daddy if that pleases you.  Take what they offer and strive to be happy if that’s what floats your boat.  But you should know they hold us as if a man holds cattle or sheep.  Such animals are not pets.  They are held for future feasts.

Is liberalism valid?

Truth is absolute!  It is perspective that is relative. For the sake of understanding I will say that again.   Truth is absolute!  It is perspective that is relative!

What has perspective to do with the absolute nature of truth?  Yet this is the war in America today.  Perspective lovers lead our nation.  Truth lovers are considered old fashioned,  foolish, unenlightened, unfair, narrow minded, and every other word that has a negative connotation.

How can a man who has lived his entire life in the bottom of a well describe the things that are above him?  He will use his perspective alone.  And if someone differs with him . . . But any man who lives on the upper ground will consider the words of the man in the well to be lies and foolish.

Men of power and rank have taught that truth is relative, therefore it cannot be the sole provider of wisdom.   These men speak as if they are in the bottom of a well.  They glorified the perspective of man and give no glory to God, who alone is good and true.   If you would like to hear from those who have always lived above the well, read the following Scripture.

_____________

6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”

4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”  (Isaiah)

Let man conjure up what he will from the basket of lies he carries so carefully.  There is a day that he will be forced to appear before the Holy Lord God Almighty.  Truth will no longer be relevant to prospective.  And those men will no longer be able to to lie to one another!

Liberalism is a lie.  God alone is true.  Each of us are forced to choose.  Refuse to choose and you stand with the liars.  Liberals will say, “That is not fair”.  But those words will fall on deaf ears when they stand before the executioner.

It is essential that eternity  be commanded by One who is perfectly true.  One lie from Him and eternity no longer exists.  Man on earth is not eternal.  Therefore what is it to him to lie?  Here lies are king.  Before God lies are death.

15 “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”  (Joshua 24)
