The only time a pencil can leave a mark is when it’s held, placed on the paper, and pushed around. The pencil doesn’t want to write it’s simply able if the right circumstances come upon it.

The pencil doesn’t know it can even write at all, but that’s specifically its only use. That is exactly what it’s made to do.

It can’t find the paper. It certainly can’t haul it around. It can’t leave intelligible marks by itself. It can’t ask for anyone else’s help. The fact is it doesn’t even know it needs help to do anything more than lay on the table.

Does this sound like humans to you? You know what kind of trouble a child gets into for writing things on the wall?

God is the writer. He designed his creation to write, but he certainly didn’t create his creation to write vulgar and unholy things on his wall!

You heard of righteous people. Not a one of the righteous is righteous by their own will. Rather they are righteous because they allow God to direct them in absolutely everything. The righteous know they can accomplish nothing unless Jesus does it for them. And they know they can’t take credit for anything done (anything!).

Boasting is stupid. So too, is trying to do anything at all without the hand of the one who made us.

This is an illustrated fact. Do with it what you will or let God show you what it means.

I’ve heard people say they despise AI Christian music. Their reason for the hatred is that it’s all AI generated and that there’s no soul within it. “Where is the Holy Spirit in this“?

In part, I agree with them, but I have something they apparently didn’t think about when they said that. Where is the Holy Spirit in a whole lot of human Christian music?

We are just humans trying to make the sound of the spirit most of the time. Then what harm is it to hear our own testimony being echoed by AI?

No, it’s not spirit driven. I get that. But often neither are we. Yet we still love this non-spirit driven music by humans.

A vague shadow of hypocrisy is over this writing. But for the most part hypocrisy is often sewn into the garments of Christians while we’re here. That’s not blame. It’s just reality.

Nothing in this world has the proclivity of upper movement. Everything in this world moves down to the dust. A person has to fight tooth and nail to gain a quarter inch up, not to mention maintaining what altitude they just accomplished.

Humans have to fight tooth and nail to maintain.

Here is the truth that is right before our face 24 seven: Jesus told us “ You can do nothing without me“. He is the one who is eternally up while we are the ones who are internally down.

Folks think that just Believing that this is true is sufficient. Watch out for that statement. Look around carefully and consider with everything you have. If everything you are is pointed downward how can you trust that every thought you have (or any thought you have) is pointed in the right direction?

It is absolutely impossible that any thoughts we have are pointed in the right direction. This is not a place to look for peace by contriving a form of compromise. No. It is essential that you do the things that support your belief in Christ.

The sad thing is people need to be told this.

So who will testify that these things are true by their actions, thoughts and attitude?

Even if you’re a deeply troubled creature, you still have the necessity to help your brother see more clearly.

The very next moment: Less than 1000th of the time it takes to blink an eye is like a cliff to a bottomless pit. Because we’re so used to making our way to the edge of that cliff, we rarely think about our demise.

Living our life on the edge, choosing to revel in the moment while walking carefree into utter darkness. That’s the nature of man’s life.

One thing that is almost always thrown away by the world is the very moment after we fall off that cliff. The judgment of God catches us before we plummet to oblivion.

For those who trust him believe him, and are best friends with the Most High God’s holy, righteous and glorious son Jesus the Christ will be transported to their eternal Lord.

Those who have never given him honor, nor even tried to understand and ask for help will find themselves, an absolute vacuum of being able to do anything anymore, in a blackness of hope, a void of understanding. Their trip of walking blindly toward an obvious cliff is over.

What is the anguish of hell?

The Lord Jesus described it as a fire.
He described it as a worm that never dies.
And in Matthew chapter 8, verse 12 we have this:

12 “But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

I have heard of people explaining that darkness in a way that removes the light from eyes, as if it’s so dark you can’t see your hand. Without question that is utterly and completely wrong.

How simple to associate the physical being with an eternal reality and think that you do finally understand the full meaning.

Here’s what the Lord has taught me:

Have you ever had such a regret that your heart just can’t handle the pain? Imagine then how deep the pain is when you remember everything you’ve done outside of God, and are filled with such a massive regret that you can hardly look up at all.

Such an oppressiveness that it feels like the most searing fire that never dies. It feels like a worm carving its way through your body and will never stop.

The darkness he’s talking about is a lack of forgiveness from God. It’s the lack of his teaching and guiding because you threw it away in this life. There you will never be embraced by the love of God you will only be embraced by your own failures.

Saying all of that, I have not one sliver of a desire that any man should endure that. You don’t have to today is the day of salvation. If you will just turn your eyes to Jesus, confess that you need him that you are a sinner and beg him to have mercy on you for you will surely be begging when you sit in hell with everything you are.

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. There will be wailing and a pain that no word of man can describe here. But I can tell you the truth they can describe it very well as they sit in hell.

How did he teach me this? By letting me see constantly all the things that I have done wrong one piece at a time and every single one of them cut me so deeply I could hardly breathe. What if all my sins came at me at the same time with nowhere to turn no hope nothing called tomorrow?

I wrote this down that at least one or two or 200 might read it and call on Jesus to be saved.

We have two great Pyrenees dogs. They are absolutely beautiful. They love without question but put a piece of food, one piece, down by the two of them and the two sisters will growl and fight over the piece of food.

One word from me and that bitterness stops. Why can’t the people of Christ do the same to their brothers and sisters?

The answer is, do they respect and love the voice of God in them that says “hey hey“?

Often the dogs act more beautifully than the people of God. How shockingly disappointing.
