Be bold

Every time I spend with the Lord in prayer I notice something different.  Perhaps I see something I did not notice before.  Perhaps something I noticed before becomes prominent and powerful.  Perhaps something I noticed before that was powerful and prominent becomes small in light of a new revelation.

But I noticed this morning, as I prayed my mind became quickened.  The words flowed from my mouth almost automatically.  There was no stuttering or pause.  And there was no fault in the flow.

This leads me to an understanding.  The Lord wants to reach every man with the gospel.  There is no singular source among men by which the gospel reaches all.  Rather he uses every one of his people to promote what is true.

I notice a lot of Christians.  But few of them allow their mouths to be used on a regular basis.  The Lord did not call us to be afraid and timid.  He called us to be bold and unafraid.

Where does the strength come from to be bold and unafraid?  It comes from allowing ourselves to be ushered into the Throne Room of the Most High God.  The peace we receive from Him gives us great strength and concentration.  How can one be afraid of anything when he has been in the presence of God?

So I urge my brothers and sisters to consider this.  You are the only one who can reach those you know.  Your words, presented with boldness, maybe the only gospel they ever hear.
