Revelation 11, and What is Now

The storm comes.  Men complain.  The heat comes.  Men complain.  The rains rise as floods.  Men complain.  Food spoils in the field from lack of water.  Men complain.  Desire is dashed.  Men complain.  Wonders are given.  Men complain.  Position is attained.  Men complain.

When will you cease your incessant complaints?  What is enough to satisfy you?  Patience, love, understanding, and faith elude you.  Therefore you complain.

Your complaint has reached the ears of the Lord of life.  Your unwillingness to receive with thanks is noted.  He is Lord!  He has provided all that is necessary.  Yet thanks is not first in your heart.  What is to become of you?  What shall He give to inspire your thanks?  Perhaps He could offer His Son up to death.  Would that inspire thanks in your stone cold heart?  Wait!  He already has, and you are not thankful!

Cease your complaints!  Learn to endure!

But you will yet dance and celebrate in an unholy manner once more.  Yes you will.

9″ For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.  10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.”

Your love of dissatisfaction and complaint will rot against you.  Perhaps you should rethink your position.

  1. It is the nature of the desert wanderer to moan, the Red Sea was insignificant, while the false ease of Egypt seduces those who wander the sands, and they fail to see the glory before them as they are too busy looking below them.
