PTSD

What if:

What if there was no such thing as PTSD? What if the memories of tragedy, self imposed or otherwise, simply didn’t exist. Who would we have become?

But PTSD is excruciatingly real. Memories stand in line just waiting their turn to enraged the fire.

Here’s a thought: while suffering on the inside is bad enough, what shall be said about an entire existence that just waits for opportunity to add to the trouble?

Suck it up buttercup. This is where we find life on earth and everybody gets a taste.

Thanks be to God Christ!

Stealing from Christ

What makes Christianity endlessly different in this world? The foundation of difference is the question of who is responsible for my salvation.

Do we share even the tiniest portion of responsibility for our salvation with the living God? Thinking that we obey anything he tells us to do is to divide the responsibility beyond Christ.

You want the awe you had at some point in regard to his sacrifice? Do you want it back? Then stop trying to carry any portion of salvation as if it belongs to you.

Either we give total joy to his living name, or we expect some kind of applause from eternity because we did something right.

Every other religion among men requires us to save ourselves by doing something. Christ Jesus says “believe”. Everything else follows our belief in God, in Christ, and the true joy of salvation, unshakable!

The forgiveness of sin does not come when you do it all rightly. “Be still and know I am God“.

By His Grace.

Seriously, heads up!

Dear Russian leadership:

I’m not a historian. I can’t unequivocally say there has never been an army like yours. So I can only understand what I see you doing by equating it with my own life, but I have to say that, even in my own life, I do not see the likeness of your leadership.

When I start to plot plans in myself that proved out not to work, I didn’t keep trying them. I quit that and look for something else to do. It’s not that I am analytically genius, I just quit knocking my forehead against an oak door, cause it hurts.

I know God blinds, the eyes of his enemy, and I know that you think you pray to a God. But the fruit of the tree is absolute insanity. You would rather lose 1 million people over four years then change up your tactics.

I have to say that if God blinds your eyes, it’s only your eyes that are blinded. He can just as easily un blind you and then anyone who ridicules you is a fool. But I am utterly astounded by this voracious willingness to lose it’s like you say “please come kick my butt“.

People look for a miraculous sign. They always expect to see something good and pleasant and happy, fuzzy and warm. They don’t often look for an idiot and call that a miraculous sign. Even drunks look at somebody like that and say “dude you ought to start drinking”. (but that seems to be already one of the problems in their military.)

Who understands the wisdom of God and his exceedingly unexpected great power to deliver as he pleases? He tells us he will raise kings, and he will lower kings. He will exalt the rejected and utterly dismiss the acceptable.

Look at your own time folks and be utterly amazed and astounded!!!!!!!!. Remember the cost and start doing an accounting of yourself. Never think that someone being misled is really a godly person. There are moments we all fall. I get it, but there are stubborn behaviors that betray us for who we really are. I understand there is grace grace in Christ for the weak, the unstable, the unwilling (to a certain extent), and those absolutely unable. Honestly. Be truthful with your own heart is what Russia is doing intelligent at all? What about you double check triple check quadruple check sync Italia Mia check.

“Just call me, Fred”.

Something to nag at your memory for pondering:

I have said that the name of God is far more than saying God. It is everything he has done everything he is doing and everything he will do for eternity. No man can possibly speak that, so he gave us a name we could speak.

That is also true of every individual who ever lived. Your full name, first middle and last, is only a nickname. Names like Superfly, the beast, the little nanny, the fashion monger, any nickname you want to recall.

It’s useless to ponder on our true name. No human being can ever remember everything he or she has done will do or is doing. Noone can speak our full name but the living God himself. That name is possibly about the only thing we can do any changes to.

“ I am what I am.”

Indelible memory

sight

Sound

Taste

Smell

Emotional

Atmospheric

Anything can bring association between the now and what was. It’s sudden and it’s strong.

Those terrible memories you have about terrible things you have done, why are they the ones who are predominant in such memory recollection? Surely you have a great many pleasant memories. But your appearance of accusation is the first choice in associative recollection.

Let’s give it 50-50. Let’s allow that you have 50% bad and 50% good memories. (I know that’s a massive stretch). But it seems the bad memories come up far more often; the accusations fly from the past, and we have to look hard to see the joy. WHY?

Ponder that hard.

There is an answer. The truthful answer comes from Christ. It’s like one of those impossible puzzles, you’ll never figure it out until you really study the solution. Christ Jesus is the solution.

What is this?

What is this spine that I wear on my back?
It’s not the one I was born with.

This spine is tempered steel .
“ I can’t live in a fire to temper my spine!”.

What is the strength of it?
What does this do that bones cannot?

Let’s take a look:

Why am I sitting here full of peace?
I look at the blazing aura of chaos I live in.

Full of bad choices, only responding to ducking and weaving.

So how am I at peace?

This is a hand of God!
This is where I can see Him!

This is how I can personally know his salvation is upon me, regardless my personal value!

Christ! Christ! Christ!

Is my transformed spine.
To give me peace in the pit of despair.
