Christian Superstitions

Countless people were crucified in the days of the Romans. The people of that day understood the meaning of a cross.

The cross without the living Christ is no different than a shadow.

The symbol itself has no power at all except to generate fear, superstition, and death.

It is the living Christ who provides life. Yes, the intangible and invisible glory of God. Do not think that evil has respect for any object on earth.

P. S. The same can be said of Mary, the apostles, and the Saints.

What is the shape of your God?

When “Impossible” Arrives

The Lord will move a mountain for the one who is ever thirsty.

Though he is in the desert of deprivation, God will bring the streams of heaven to encompass his encampment.

Every day the man’s feet took him where he did not want to go, until the man thought he had no choice.

Every day the man cried out for help.

—–

The Lord has heard his prayer.

With the strength of his great sacrifice, the mountain is moved to the man.

“This far you shall come and no more. See, I have set a restraining upon you; as a man will halter horse, so I have blessed you with restraint.”

Victory comes when the man least expects.

Only let him continue to call for help.

Let him prove his desire to betray his own flesh.

Even as his flesh betrayed him.

God will move when the wisdom of heaven allows.

When his strength has arrived, all is well.

Now he worships like the 10th leper.

The impossible has come like warm clothing in the winter.

Believe and live.

The Definition of Beauty

It is not my clothing that makes me beautiful. It is not the most exquisite possession that makes me important. It is not the agility of my flesh or mind, nor formidable power of my heroic will.

It is that the will of God works in me to accomplish the will of God. This makes me eternally valuable and pristinely beautiful. Such beauty is not open for debate.

It is so with everyone of his people whom he himself has called.

Jesus is first. Jesus IS. Jesus forever will be: the beauty of God, the majesty of God, the preeminence of God, and Life.

Value what you will, nothing on earth or in the imagination of man, can compare to the Glory of the Living God’s Holy Son; The Lord of HIS glory – both in this place and forever sealed in HIS temple.

THIS IS BEAUTY DEFINED!

Less Trav. . .

There are two paths in life. One is narrow, and requires The stealth of heaven to navigate. Very few walk there on, for godly agility eludes them.

But consider the other path. It is broad enough that a man may carry the immense lies of the imagination. Those who take this path have numerous gods of their own. Confusion is their king and worthless folly their riches.

The light yoke of the Living God’s Holy Son is too little for them; to wear his will, his mercy, his love and his grace, is to walk about naked in their estimation. As is written, “the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing”. They would rather be clothed with palpable trivia than truth.

Beyond question every path has a destination. The way we take determines the house we will enter. It is written by the law of God that this will be so. His law is immutable. And it is blazing the apparent in the nature of things around us, as God has created it to be.

Due to the pride of man and the free will commanded by the gospel of Christ, I can do no more than write these words. It is no feather in my cap if some listen. It is no joy of mine if most don’t.

Be Patient

The war. The battle. The temptation. The weakness.

The repair. The change of mind. Determination:

It takes a while. Reside in prayerful attitude.

It takes a while to journey,

For we reside so far from

HE.

Where y’all going?

“Are you going to go to heaven?” Someone may ask you that. It’s the answer that I find very interesting. Perhaps we say “yes”. But isn’t that where our minds stop?

It’s not the arriving my friends. It’s the remaining.   We don’t go to heaven as if we mark it on our bucket list; as if someplace we have always wanted to go.

Those who trust the Lord Jesus, and count Him as their God, will THERE remain. His promise is to take us to a place we have never seen nor imagined.  Isn’t that true?

One might dare to say, “I’m already there”.  Isn’t his promise that solid and sure?
