The Urging

God urges us from heaven.  He delivered His Holy words to us through His chosen messengers.  Then He delivered His chosen “WORD” wrapped in flesh.  These words urge us to accept the terms of peace from Him.

Men in hell desire to urge their loved ones to accept those terms from God.  Men in heaven desire the same of all men.  And we who serve Him among you here urge you to consider God’s terms for peace with Him.

Forget world peace.  There never will be any among the godless men who rule this world.  Greed inhabits even the fingers of the poor.  Where is the possibility of peace in a world filled with greedy souls?

But there is a peace offered between heaven and any man who will accept the terms.  What are the terms?  God has written them down for every man to read.  And every term has to do with His Holy Son Jesus.

Read them for yourself in the Bible.  Perhaps you can’t read.  Then use the friend who is reading this to you now.

You are being urged to avoid a certain and eternal punishment.  It’s real.  And so are the terms of peace.

I know how unpopular this message is today.  And so do you.  That should set off alarms within you.  Do you really think God allowed us to murder His Son only to let us have our own filthy way forever?  The price to pay for rebellion against God comes closer with every passing second.  Haven’t we wasted enough of them already?

The Reflection of Heaven Among Men

All things of men are but a shadow of the heavenly things.  Whether rebellion or holiness, we see the state of heavenly things directly before our eyes.  Yet this is inverse of the ways of heaven.  Where heaven is populated with what is Holy more than that of rebellion, man is immersed in rebellion more than holiness.

Look around you.  Consider this with wisdom and react accordingly.

Approaching Destruction

The cloud approaches in the night.  A cloud which appears as the night sky to those who witness its approach.  Who notices?  Who pays attention?

With blind eyes they look.  Though their ears hear they do not recognize the noise.  The air begins to move; taken toward the coming storm.  And alarm begins to fill the minds of all men.

Sparkling sparks mimic the stars.  No technology perceives the impending doom.  Death approaches silent and unstoppable.

Rebellion against the Holy will of God has blinded their eyes.  They refuse to listen to the Holy words which can save them.  Hands filled to over flowing with pleasure and every wicked thing, the people live in alarm.  As they refused to speak of Holy things, so now they refuse to speak of what is coming.  And the mystery of approaching doom escapes their understanding.  “It will not be given to them” is the statement from Heaven.  Understanding and preparation is removed from the face of the earth.

Those who see perceive through eyes born of God.  Those who hear have yearned to hear the Word of God.  They will endure in peace, for they were told long ago of this storm’s approach.  Today is the day for preparation.  Prepare to receive the salvation of your souls.

Let us give praise to the Glorious Judge of all creation.  Not one of His Holy Judgments will lend itself to the blame of wicked men.  His enemies will be utterly swept away with a simple nod of His Glorious head.  And the will of God, that Holy and Perfect will, carries His people into that Blessed Rest.  Praise to the Lord Jesus for His faithfulness to the Father.

A New Season Appears

CalmA curious calm has settled over my heart and soul.  Yesterday the battle raged.  Today is like taking a vacation under a palm on the beach.  Normal is a turmoil between the things of Heaven and the things of the world.

Every man who accepts the Lord’s leading is going to experience different things from time to time.  But it always amazes me how “different” times of refreshing and testing can be.  There is revelation, testimony spoken, war internal against sin, praise of joy to the Father, and prayer for the plight of others.  So this day of calm is interestingly curious and seemingly odd.

Swarm of Words

“What is the Kingdom of Heaven like. . . ?”  Why did the Lord say that?  Was He not sure?  No.  He was sure of His vision of where He had come from and where He was going.  But, “How shall I describe it?”  He was speaking to men of this world, who had never seen what He was describing.

I consider the vision He has allowed my mind to conceive.  How shall I describe this meager vision?  It is meager because I can only behold His words through the mind of man.  And I speak to the mind of man.  So what shall I say?

I wish to speak words of beauty.  The words that describe the joy He instills within my soul.  So:

Fill me with a swarm of words Lord!

Caress my soul with tools of Your beauty!

Allow me to speak what is true and eternal, to men of my own blood.

I sit enthroned in this tent of flesh.

And I see things radically “other”.

How shall I describe, and to what shall I liken, this beautiful vision You give?

The Swatter is Coming.

Common house fly (Musca domestica).

The fly buzzes my head.  And he gives no thought that he is irritating me to violence.  He does not notice as my hand reaches for the fly swatter.  And he takes no notice of how I have dressed myself in patience for his destruction.  I will wait for him to lite in a place of my convenience.  Then I will unleash his end.  What was tethered in patience will become a lightning end.

So it is with the wicked against the Lord.  They give no thought of how irritating they are becoming to the Lord.  They do not notice how their lives are headed toward a place the Lord has established, the place of their destruction.  They speak and rail against Him while they take no notice of how He is dressed in an eternal patience.  They are the ones who count the minutes.  The Lord only counts for the sake of those who number, for eternity has no number of days.  He waits for them to lay down in the dirt; their days spent in rebellion and hatred for His Righteousness.  And then, He unleashes His perfect and Righteous Judgment upon the wicked.
