Not From Man

Let it be known that the Gospel of Jesus Christ belongs to God.  In his Holy wisdom God has disseminated the Gospel unto men, for all men are of the same language of flesh.  But the entirety of the Gospel belongs to God.

The world looks about them and complains,  “How can there be purity and the Gospel?   Everything man touches comes to nothing”.

There can be purity and the Gospel, and surely is, because it did not originate among men.  The entirety of the Gospel is from God and belongs to God.  It cannot be touched or destroyed by any man.  And the Gospel is sustained among men by the power of the Holy Son of God.

If the Lord has given the Gospel to one man, and that man destroys it, the Gospel itself is not touched.  God will seek another man and give the Gospel to him.  By the strength of the Holy Living God,  the Gospel will not cease from among men until the last day.

This proclamation is true and faultless.  How it is received is not up to me.  What is in my care is to uphold what has come to me from God.  And even this the Gospel says, is not of my own it is a gift of God, lest any man should boast.

The world is correct.   Everything it touches becomes destroyed.  But the message of God moves through men untouched and unchanged.  If a man waters it down and destroys it, then the judgment comes upon him alone.  But if he keeps the Gospel that is given to him, then he becomes a pleasure to the Most High God and is given more.

This should be taken as a warning to all who are in Christ.  But it is also a vast encouragement.  Christ Jesus will lose none of those the Holy Father has placed in his hands.  But let us live with great caution in our soul, for the charge we have been given is Holy.

Meditation on What is Holy

One by one the bricks are laid,

And truth begins to build.

The morning comes when sleep is past.

Forgiveness comes for truth’s deep fast.

Dreams retreat before the Fire of God.

The lips confess, both truth and fault.

And soon the Lord replies.

Piece by piece the scales are rent.

He opens up the eyes.

The ears once deaf,

Hear the Lord’s footstep.

Obedience takes its place.

The man becomes what he was not.

The Glory of God,

Takes His rightful throne!

The man will dance throughout the day,

No longer naked or alone.

Godly, Magnificent, Holy, and Eternally Valuable!

The shape of the human body is so very wickedly misused.  If a man comes among others, well dressed, washed, and manicured from foot to head, he is received as “something important and desirable”.  If a woman does the same, she is admired, sought after, idolized, and honored.  But does anyone ask, “Do they contain what is true”?

Any homeless and ignorant man can be dressed the same.  He can be taught how to walk and hold himself.  He can be cleaned up and presented to that same crowed.  They will surely accept him as one of their own, until he speaks his own language.

How easily fooled are the masses of humanity.  How easily fooled is the Church of God.  How narrow eyed are the eyes of those who say they see.  And how blind are the eyes are those who cannot.

How utterly sorrowful that man should accept such tripe as if it were godly, magnificent, holy, and eternally valuable.  All the while, there is One who holds out his Holy hands to all men.

His hands are not well manicured, for they bear a hole in each.  His body is not built as the desired bodies of such “elegant” people.  For there is a large hole in his side.  And his feet would not incur adoration.  For there are holes in them too.

Yet this is the One who is Godly, Magnificent, Holy, and Eternally Valuable!

The Fullness of Christ

It is said in every place, “The Holy Father has given all things into the hands of His Holy Son.”

We read it.  We strive to believe and understand it.  We strive, with all we have to “do” the testimony of it.  But “it” remains beyond our grasp to fully understand that simple statement.

This morning, while I went to that habitual place of reverence to the Lord, He brought to my soul a remarkable understanding.

Now, I’m going to try to relate this using human understandings.  There is no way to relate what is of heaven, in the language of man.  I say this to avoid any possible attacks from some who rightfully strive to defend what is holy and of Christ, their Love.

As to the Glory of Christ Jesus:  If all of heaven were to be utterly destroyed (as if such a thing could happen).  If all of creation were to suddenly perish (yet isn’t that part of the Gospel of Christ?).  Christ Jesus would remain untouched.

The Holy Father has dressed His Holy Son Jesus, in such a manner as to be Sovereign.  What I’m trying to say is that Jesus does not depend on anything in creation, whether of heaven or earth, to secure His standing.  Everything else, absolutely everything else, in heaven and earth relies on Him for “continuing”.  Nothing, and no one else holds any possible equal to the Majesty of Jesus.

He, Jesus, and the Father are ONE.  As God the Father is Sovereign, so it is with the Holy Son.  Grasp this, and your understanding of the Holy One of God changes drastically.   Have it spoken to your soul from the Father Himself, and your entire day just got injected with unshakable strength!

As the understanding covered me this morning, I stood in wonder.  For it came to me dressed in everything I know.  It was not given as if a statement.  I guess man might say it was a revelation from God.  For I struggle so to relate what I perceived.

May God bless you, my beautiful family in Christ, this day.  May He open the volume of Heaven to your holy heart.  May all that His Holy Wisdom desires come upon all His people.  May Christ Jesus dawn in our hearts, that we might hold the strength of testimony due His Holy Name.

May the will of God be done among us all.  For the Glory of His Majestic, Holy, Loving, Patient, Merciful, Just, Righteous, Pure, and Blessed Holy Son!  (In that Jesus has been blessed to be Sovereign, as has always been the Holy Father, it is impossible to exhaust or articulate His Holy Name).

Amen!

No Room for Humanity

I recently met up with an old friend.  We did a lot of talking about the days gone by.  Soon we turned to the present time, catching up on what each one does.

Over the weeks and months, my love for God came out strong.  I tried to talk with him about the things of his interests.  But those things no longer interest me.

As is sure to happen, a distance begin to develop.  It is an uncomfortable awareness that we are no longer the friends we were.  He is of the world, I am of God.

With hopes that we would not have disagreement, I tried to coax him toward understanding.  I tried to lace everything I said with something to do with eternity.  As if a man might try to tame the lion.

But a lion is what it is.  And history can tell us of many people who were ripped to shreds.  The trainer cannot be the lion.  And the lion cannot change from being a lion.  Sooner or later one of them will have to step up and take the lead.

So it is with our dealings with the unsaved.  Their minds are firmly set on the things of this world.  A love for God is a foreign and obscene idea.

The argument finally came.  His feelings were hurt by some small thing I said.  He commanded that I repair my ways or distance myself.  Ok, fine.

“I will stand where I do.  You go back to what you love.”  This is the sum of what I was forced to tell him.  It is not God in me that closed the door.

But in parting, as it is with the end of all arguments, a remark is always made to punctuate the truth.  This particular relationship has ended on the same note.  He will go his way into the chaos of all the world.  And I will remain attached to my feet; those items of my soul which are firmly secured in the salvation of God.

He is upset because he thinks it’s unfair that God should trivialize the human condition.  He does not want to be holy.  He wants to be accepted just like he is.  In this, my friend is not much different than the majority of Christians (At least those I have met.  At least what I have read from what Christianity today has become).

But his parting volley of words missed me by a mile.  I’m sure he intended to cut me to the heart.  It was his last ditch effort to change my mind.  He said to me,  that he didn’t want anything to do with a religion that has no room for Humanity.

What does he mean by that?  I doubt that he would truly know.  But I know what that means.  That means what God has been saying all along.  There is no room in eternity for sin.

Many people think the frailty of humanity is to receive welcome out of pity.  What a completely uneducated perspective that is.  God’s promise to the frailty of man remains.  Everything that is sin will be utterly destroyed.

In His mercy he will teach us how to become holy.  But so many millions think it is unfair.  They hate the things of God but they love the pity that comes their way.

There is far more to Christianity than the forgiveness of sins!  Christianity is about becoming a godly man.  It is not a certificate of license handed out by God so you can continue in your unholy way.  If you think that’s unfair then you are likely not a Christian, no matter what you’ve gone around calling yourself!

There is so much to say concerning this.  I feel the anger in me rise to the top.  Not because of my friend, but because so many have misused the love of God.  I think it is wise for me to just shut up right now.

Caught Dead

A mass murder can shield himself from detection as long as he does what is expected of him by the society he lives in.  He doesn’t need to lay aside his desire for destruction.

Isn’t it interesting that man can disguise himself so very well?  You see a woman dressed beautifully.  What’s inside her soul?  Who can tell?  Even if she makes a misstep in her language, who’s to say it wasn’t just a mental lapse.  And a man may have all the trappings of a beautiful example of humanity, yet hide hideous desires just under his skin.  How many women can testify to that?

The point is, you don’t need to be a holy man to receive the accolades of holiness from men.  They can’t tell what you are on the inside.  But you can.

Perhaps you haven’t taken the time to deliver your soul to the judgment seat of purity.  But why not?  You will be required to give complete account of your integrity to the Sovereign God.

It is the man of integrity that can rest assured that he is as people perceive him.  He doesn’t need to hide anything.  He can live his life in peace.  That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a righteously doing man.  It means he’s embarrassed at his short comings and tries hard to learn to do what is right.

What is integrity among men?  Isn’t it a mouth that confesses what lay hidden from others concerning him?  Isn’t it the man who has presented his soul to the judgment seat of purity and truth?   Isn’t integrity a state of being?

We think it is too much to be expected to be holy people.  So we give up.  Instead of continuing trying to obtain something more, we learn to hide behind our skin.

Who will be the one who receives the “Well done” from the Lord?  Isn’t it he who is caught dead trying to obey?

May the Lord deliver the fullness of this message to whoever reads it.
