The Faint Rumblings.

The world around us is beginning to crash to the ground.  Listen to the sound of destruction.  It comes from the hills.  Like distant thunder we hear the faint rumble of hopelessness and death.  Listen!  Be still and listen with all your heart.  The approach is in progress.  It is an approaching “storm of wickedness”.

God has promised that man will endure a horrible time in the last days.  His wrath has been held back for thousands of years.  He has been patient and loving for everyone who will call upon Him.  And He has shown mercy on the godless and ungodly as they mark out their days in rebellion and cursings toward the Holy One of Israel.

But listen.  Can’t you hear that faint rumble?  It is the collapse of man’s ability to fend off chaos.  Man has determined that he is able to bring about peace on this world.  How can there be peace in a world of limited resources?  How can there be peace anywhere without the Living God directing the ways of man? 

They have thrown His Holy Commands aside in favor of pleasure and pride.  Now they begin to pay the price.  And as the Day comes closer, the price will increase.  God will be glorified.  And rebels will be subjected to humiliation, defeat, fear, and destruction.  Listen to the faint rumble.

A Dream

Old Bottles

The following is the result of a dream.  May the Lord Jesus dress our hearts and minds to understand.

The metal bottle

I dreamed of those who worship technology.  I saw that they allowed themselves to believe their lies to be truths.  They had invented a program and its implements which would allow them to appear in any form they wished.  Though it was not they who appeared in any form, but their image portrayed through their instruments.  I saw how they could project their image in any manner of state.  Some would fly.  Some would become invisible.  Some would conquer things of imagination.  But none of this was real.  It was a way for people to escape the reality of their situations.  And they embraced it with a great joy.  And this joy washed away every awareness of sin and its consequences.  And through this invention, God and His Holy Commands was also washed away from their minds.  To them, this new experience was worthy of all worship.  And they gave themselves fully to the worship of this invention.  The people who worship this invention will say to themselves, “I will fashion myself after this.”  Or, “I will fashion myself after that”.  But they will forget to fashion themselves after the Holy One of Israel!

In the dream a young girl appeared from an old house, which was built on a small hill.  The woman who stood near me addressed her by a name I had never heard.  The young girl was asked how it was with her.  Her response was that “He is coming home”.  And with that, she tossed a metal bottle toward the woman beside me.  The bottle did not contain anything, for it had no opening.  As the bottle was nearing the woman’s hand, the young girl said, “It is such a shame that he has been bound.  He is not mean as they have said.  But he is beautiful and peaceful.  I’m glad he’s coming home.”  And the woman beside me agreed.

The Warning

Awake!  You people of the Lord awake!  What has come to be is preparation for the stage of the end.  Come out of her, lest you share in her sins.  The world is about to embrace its god.  They will truly believe he is innocent of any evil.  And this lie will propel him to leadership on earth.  They will worship the beast and the image of his name.  For they love all things pleasure, and hate all things Godly.  We are witnessing the advent of the stage on which God’s wrath will pour out.  Awake!

The Lord has sent man a strong delusion, that man might believe the lie of his own works.  Man has embraced technology as if a god.  And he will not turn from this work of his hands.  Remember how it was before all this.  How man was at the mercy of God for the provision of his food and shelter.  Remember how lovingly the Lord of Life took care of His people.  And He even sent rain on the godless and ungodly.  His mercy has no bounds as He provides for all mankind.  And note how His people had no want even in times of horrible persecution.  How cruel the lord of flies treated God’s people.  He was bound and technology took root.  This was done so that the end days would look unlike any other day on earth.  This was done so that those who hate the Lord of Eternity would commit themselves to the way of death.  And this was done so that those who believe the lie would worship this lie, and the father of all lies.   Every man will reap whatsoever he sows.  He who sows deeds in his life to bring glory to the Father of Christ Jesus, will reap life.  Those who sow to gain their own pleasure, will reap their own pleasure.  And when their ability to please themselves is taken from them by the appearance of God, they will have no crop to harvest.

Man has created the implements of this coming war with his own hands.  And these implements will be the source of his own destruction.  Take note how technology has become the religion of the world.  Look how the world is coming together over the works of man’s hands.  Listen to what they are saying.  And take heed that you are not fooled into believing their lies.  Even the President of America has said, “Science will save us”.  And see how millions agree with that statement.  With lies they promote their greedy agendas.  With lies they subject the people of this world.  With lies they gain power toward the coming war.  And with lies they create the weapons of their own death.  Do not join them!  Seek God’s Truth.

Look how God has been pushed away, for man no longer has need of God’s provision. They say that they can save themselves.  This is a lie and man has been instrumental in building the lie of his own death.  And now man is about to embrace another lie, the father of lies.  They will agree that his way is best.  And this is how so many will accept his mark.  They already love the work of their own hands rather than embrace the Lord of Life.  So it will be an easy task now, to turn their hearts toward evil, godlessness, hatred of what is holy and good.   Listen to what is being said.  “Conservative values are ancient and no longer needed.  We have created our own righteousness.  We have no need of Christianity or its people.  We will take what we want from the truth of ages past.  And we will throw away what we do not desire.”  They will choose the one destined to destruction, the one who was bound and is about to be released.  Awake!

Turn to the Lord God Almighty through Jesus His Son and receive the wisdom of His choosing.  Allow Him to lead you into understanding of what is Holy and true.  Turn from the ways of this world and embrace the Lord of Glory.  Awake!  Awake, you sons of the Bright and Morning Star!  The time is near.  It is even at the very door.  Depart from their company, you people of God.  They will receive the mark of he who lies.  And all who are not in the hand of the Mighty God of eternity will join them.  Turn to the Lord of Glory and live.  Turn away from all that is wicked and obey the Gospel of the Apostles.  Listen to the words and repent.  For those words and teachings we received were written by the very blood of He who is worthy to open the seals!  We serve the Risen Lord of Life.  It will be good if we are found serving Him at His appearance.

The Call to Remembrance

Use the tools of this world with wisdom.  But, by all means, embrace the Lord of Life and the message born by those who touched God, in the body of Jesus.  Remember that we are no different than those who walked with Jesus.  It is the lie of this world which has turned our eyes toward something false.  Pray to the God of eternity, the Holy God of Israel, that He might give you legs of Holy Faith and understanding.  If you have legs of flesh, you will not stand.  Now is the time of preparation.  The war is about to be let loose.  When it begins, it will be too late for many to turn.  For the flood of lies will consume all who are not loving the appearing of the Holy God of Life. 

Remember how the people of God were taken care of gently in the wilderness.  As they learned of the power of He who lives forever, they were placed at peace in a place of concern.  He was enough for them.  And He proved His willingness to shield them.  Remember how He dashed the aggression of their enemies.  Remember how He fed them in a place of no food.  Remember how He glorified Himself among them, so that even their clothing did not wear out as they traveled under His hand.  Remember His promises to all who call upon the name of His Holy Son!  And do not forget, lest you begin to treat the gift of God as an unholy thing.  Remember how they rebelled against Him in that place of testing.  Remember how His anger burned against them.  And remember how He redeemed those who loved Him, even unto death.

Be strong and in the Holy Spirit and believe the message preached to you.  Do not turn from seeking His Holiness.  And do not return to folly as He brings you from sin to redemption.  Walk with the Lord of Life now and escape the coming lie.  All who believe the lie will perish.  And all who believe the Son of Life will live.  And this living will be evident as the time of war blankets the whole earth.

1 The Mighty One, God, the LORD,
speaks and summons the earth
from the rising of the sun to where it sets.
2 From Zion, perfect in beauty,
God shines forth.
3 Our God comes
and will not be silent;
a fire devours before him,
and around him a tempest rages.
4 He summons the heavens above,
and the earth, that he may judge his people:
5 “Gather to me this consecrated people,
who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
6 And the heavens proclaim his righteousness,
for he is a God of justice.

7 “Listen, my people, and I will speak;
I will testify against you, Israel:
I am God, your God.
8 I bring no charges against you concerning your sacrifices
or concerning your burnt offerings, which are ever before me.
9 I have no need of a bull from your stall
or of goats from your pens,
10 for every animal of the forest is mine,
and the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 I know every bird in the mountains,
and the insects in the fields are mine.
12 If I were hungry I would not tell you,
for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls
or drink the blood of goats?

14 “Sacrifice thank offerings to God,
fulfill your vows to the Most High,
15 and call on me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

16But to the wicked person, God says:

“What right have you to recite my laws
or take my covenant on your lips?
17 You hate my instruction
and cast my words behind you.
18 When you see a thief, you join with him;
you throw in your lot with adulterers.
19 You use your mouth for evil
and harness your tongue to deceit.
20 You sit and testify against your brother
and slander your own mother’s son.
21 When you did these things and I kept silent,
you thought I was exactly like you.
But I now arraign you
and set my accusations before you.

22 “Consider this, you who forget God,
or I will tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you:
23 Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me,
and to the blameless I will show my salvation.”

(Since this entry was written nothing has come about to warrant its writing.  I will leave this post on my blog.  I see that a lot of people are searching for such things.  But I will remind the reader that prophecy has its place.  All the while, leading a life filled with the Holy Spirit of God is of vastly more importance.  While we search for what is to come, let us remember to live a life worthy of God’s blessing.  Prophecy will do nothing to help us as we stand before the Throne of Christ Jesus.  Obedience, however, will help us immensely.)

I just posted a difference in beliefs between Glenn Beck and the children of the Most High God through Jesus’ sacrifice.  So I feel a bit redundant bringing him back to my blog.  But something is transpiring which demands attention.

Glenn is planning to take his media power to Jerusalem.  It is his belief that he must stand with Israel in the coming days.  I pondered this move in light of the Lord’s plans and wondered how this might fit in.  Though I don’t have direct word from the Lord on this, I’ve come to a realization that might hold some water.

The current media ignores Israel, being quite liberal and ungodly in their approach to the world’s plight.  And we have heard of the two witnesses which will appear to testify to the world’s ungodly behavior.  It’s not likely that the current media would even notice them, given their present bend to sin.  But we are told that these two witnesses will be seen by the entire world.  Is it possible that Glenn’s move to Jerusalem (along with his powerful outreach) is a direct hand of God?  Perhaps the Lord is setting up the stage on which these two men will carry out their appointed tasks.

The following is the account of these two men from the book of Revelation chapter 11.  I present this, not as the direct word of God, as something for all men to ponder and respect.  God will move against the sins of this world.  How He will do it is only in our hands to watch.

1 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” 4 They are “the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”  5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. 6They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

 7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified. 9 For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. 10The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

 11 But after the three and a half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

 13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

 

May all who seek life from the Lord through Jesus be made to wake.  The time is nearer now than ever before.  Do not get caught sleeping.

Bamboo in a Storm.

I look at a tree sway in the wind.  It is winter, so there are no leaves on the trees.  The tree is 100 ft high and swaying about 15 ft back and forth.  I consider the power placed on the roots as this tree sways back and forth.  What tremendous pressure is placed on the roots.  No man has to climb such a tree very far before he realizes the danger posed to him from the weight added to this pressure on the roots.

I remember that the Church, and even the individual people of God, are considered as branches in a tree.  How the world and sin place pressure on the people of God.   They buffet God’s people as the wind buffets this tree I see.  How the pressure on the roots, Jesus, grows as sin around us increases.  And I am given pause to consider how mighty must Jesus’ promises and strength be for the sake of His Church.

“Lord, what kind of tree must You have created here.  That we should be able to climb to the top of Your promises and remain in safety.  No sins or plots by men can come against You and Your people that would tear at the roots You have created.  What kind of tree might You be?”

He replies, “I am a mighty oak.  All who are of me can ride the storms with perfect safety.”   But does the Church, the people of the Sovereign God, realize who they are?   Do we see them living as though they are grown from the roots of a Mighty Oak?  No, sadly, we see our brothers and sisters living as though they are simply tiny branches of an over grown bamboo tree.  They live as though they are transplanted into a spindly tree and grown in a storm.  The fear of breaking is about them like a mist. 

Take heart, O’ people of God!  You are of the One who cannot lie!  He has promised to bring you home.  So why do you doubt?  Praise Him and accept His Holy will in your life!  Rest as did our Lord in the boat!  Sleep with comfort in the midst of death and carnage.  You belong to the Holy One of Israel, the Mighty Oak of Heaven!  Raise up with the strength of those who BELIEVE!
