Got nothing to write about?  Scared that you’ll run out of words?  Then your focus is on the things of this world.  Or, worse yet, your focus is on the things of man.

God is endless.  God is interesting.  God is vibrantly valid.  And the Son of Man, Jesus, is the very Word of God.  Want something endless and beautiful to write about?  Write about Jesus.

Maybe you don’t appreciate the Lord Jesus.  Then write as if you’re one of His enemies.  See, there’s no end to the potential regarding the Lord of Life, Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, too many exclamination points…………..    sorry………….   Opps!  Too many periods………////.kjf;lsdjf;ldsjf;laksjdflkajsd;lfkja;slkgjoarigh;kkvnka.xjcvn;ksihjw;eotj;asddnglkajdvblkasjdnf;asjkhef………………    ENDLESSLY BEAUTIFUL IS GOD MOST HIGH!

What?

What did God ever do that anyone should hate Him?  What?  Did he give life?  Is that worth hatred?  Did He give items that induce joy?  Is that worthy of hatred?  What?

It is the flesh that hates the Lord.  Yet there’s more.  The hatred of the flesh is but a shadow of the hatred satan has for the Lord.  Yet, why hate the Lord who gave life to those who hate Him?  Even now, He gives them what they need.  Yet, “They have hated Me for no reason”.

Greed hates love.   God created satan.  Satan turned to see the glory of God’s righteous qualities.  “I will make those qualities mine and the others will love me.”  But time moved on.

Love for the righteous qualities of God became an obsession for grandeur.  Satan desired the position of God.  “Then they will love me”, he thought to himself.

Death was born when hatred entered in.  Where is that point?  Only those who begin to love the Lord can point to that place.  Because, where we die is the very place where we begin to live.

As long as you refuse to embrace the Lord Jesus, you continue in the hatred for the Father.  God the Father has loved The Son with a love which knows no breaking or separation.  This is not so for the way God the Father will treat His enemies.  The end of such hatred is uniquely singular, death.  I beg you, give this some serious thought.

Familiarity Breeds Contempt

“Why, I remember you when you were just a boy.  You couldn’t even tie your shoes.  And you’re gonna give me a ticket for speeding?  You ought to learn some respect for your elders son”!

I don’t know where, but I’m sure that has been said thousands of times to thousands of men.  And why not?  Men do it to God all the time.  Why not do it to men?

A man is given authority to accomplish the will of leaders in society, and evil hearts have utter contempt for him.  Others, on the other hand, respect the uniform, position and instilled authority.  It is rare to find that respect among those who knew the man before he was given such power.

“Only in his hometown, among his own relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor”, said Jesus.

“Jesus”, people say.  “Isn’t that the name of the one the Christians worship”?  Or the people say among themselves, “Jesus, isn’t that the babe in the manger in the Christmas story”?

Familiarity breeds contempt.  But only among those who are only willing to accept others according to their own perception.

If you limit Jesus to His earthly persona, you will hate Him.  But if you give thought to His rightful claim as the Son of God, you open the door to eternal life.  Quite the vast difference in outcome, isn’t it.

“He could not do any miracles there, except lay His hands on a few sick people and heal them.  And He was amazed at their lack of faith”.  Doesn’t that sound like familiar territory?  Isn’t that the America most have come to know, trust and love?  So, “America” has become their replacement for God.  We could then conclude the nationalism is god to most Americans.

Yep, familiarity does breed contempt.  What will be the likely outcome?  Answer that yourself.

Just as an aside: I was raised in America. I have run around in its streets. I have been part of celebrations. And I have been taught her standards. You could say that I am familiar with America. But, after learning about the Lord Jesus, I have developed a certain contempt for America. Perhaps it shows………..

By His Grace.

Blood to Blood

I woke to look around me at the state of affairs in America.  The President (the first of us all) has been re-elected.  Sadness fell on me like a smothering blanket.  As the choice of this election was between freedom or oppression, the people have chosen oppression.  And I drove through the night with tears which found no eyes from which to fall.  Dryness appeared where once there was a joyful spring of living water.

I was aghast at the number of our citizens who supported the liar.  Those who fell for wickedness as if it were a god.  Those who desire their own sin before the needs of their fellow men or even that of God.  I am appalled at their lack of knowledge to divide between what is true and what is false.

Greed, pleasure, ease of life, and an unholy trust in all that is unholy has gripped them in an iron grip of death.  They think they are gaining freedom.  But the freedom they desire is bondage to lies, corruption, and every wicked thing man has ever devised to rebel against the Holy God who gives them life.

Then the Lord came to comfort me in my sorrow.  He spoke only a few words and my soul was lit with joy.  “Blood to blood”, came His words.  “As it was begun in blood so shall it be sealed with blood.”  These things have come to pass that those words might be fulfilled.  Who is he who will render the blood of Jesus’ people?  Isn’t it he who hates the very concept of the word Holy?  Therefore they must appear.  NOW THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD JESUS, THE GLORIOUS CHRIST OF GOD, SPROUTS TEETH!

They will revel in their perceived victory.  They will marvel at the liar they now support.  But this liar will turn on them with detachment.  He will have no pity on those who now think they are bound to receive all good things from his hand.  Their joy will turn to absolute loss of hope for the things they expected to give them life.

During their celebration the Lord is building His people into that Holy Faith which was at first.  Listen to your brothers and sisters speak of the Lord with a renewed interest.  The smell of putrid sin is carried on the breeze.  Even into the inner rooms the whisper of horror begins to murmur.   The sense of urgency is beginning to come to the sleepy minds of my family in Christ Jesus.  And I am encouraged to witness this marvelous transformation begin.

When the joy of sin dissipates from the corrupt they will turn in a violent desire to know what is true and lasting.  They have desired what they have gained.  And when it appears to them that their desire is false, they will desire what is true.

As God’s people begin to endure persecution the “awakened” corrupt will witness my family’s plight and how they stand with courage, even joy, to receive what is dealt to them.  They will ask and we will answer with the hope that is within us.  Though we continue to speak of what is true and good, there will be an asking.

Many will believe and come to a living faith in the Son of God.  Many will hear and believe, but when shown what they must do they will be too weak in their soul to strive with the Saints.  They will turn again to all their old ways and will encourage one another to more violence against the Lord’s people.  They will even vent their hatred on one another.  And thus, “Blood to blood” will come to pass.

Now, my beautiful brothers and sisters of “The Way”, gather yourselves and turn away from her.  She is full to overflowing with sin.  And as you embrace even a slice of her ways you will embrace her sins.  Judgment is coming upon the entire earth, from the sins of Cain to the present wickedness, the judgment is coming.  Therefore depart from her ways.  Count yourself dead to the things of this world and seek with great earnestness the strength we will need to survive in our faith at the coming persecution.

I cannot urge you beyond these words, my family in God.  If we stand it will be by His strength.   And make no mistake in this:  He who does what is right is righteous.  He who is holy is he who divides himself from all that is unholy.  He who loves with the Love of God rebukes himself and makes right judgments regarding sin and righteousness.

Where does the strength to do what is righteous, holy, and pure come from?  Do you not know that prayer is essential to such strength?  Look at your desire to pray.  Enhance it to a fire.  Let the desire in you grow for a love of God’s ways.  Stop looking to the world for the joy of your heart.  Was not Lot’s wife turned to a pillar at such longing?

I have sought the Lord’s blessing that I might give account of what has just happened.  Darkness has set over America with finality.  Do not suppose there is a resurrection of what was before.   A new darkness is now appearing.  And it will not be taken out-of-the-way.  Prepare to glorify the Lord Jesus with your dedication and even blood.

As I wrote these things, I wrote by faith.  All things are of faith from first to last.  Even your reception of these things will be of faith or not.  But now I will recount something I think of value to all my brothers and sisters.

I appeared before the Lord to ask if there was anything false in what I wrote.  “All things are come from faith among my people”, was His reply.  Then I spoke before Him of our sins as a family.  I confessed for us that we were taught some of our lazy approach to His Holy ways.  But that even in this the Holy Word of God has been before us.  We joined in the lies willingly that we might benefit from the things of this world.

Then I turned my attention to my own sin (or at least what I perceived as a sin).  You see, my family, I drive truck for a living.  The freight I carry is not necessity.  I do not build tents to keep people sheltered.  I do not produce or provide clothing or food of an essential nature.  I deliver trinkets of sin this world creates so that the people of this world might cover themselves with displays of pride.  And in this I find no joy.

His reply was that this is the way of man to earn a living according to where the Lord places him.  This is among men and is not counted against any one of us.  There are trades which are wicked and should be abandoned.  But such things as are involved in the machinery of America are not counted against His people.

I mention this because I know that as we come alive in the Spirit of God such things will come to mind.   As we strive to rid ourselves of every wicked thing, we will encounter that question regarding our source of employment.  And with this word I strive to put at ease false accusation of our trades which the Lord Himself has granted that we inhabit.  I will not have the wicked one accuse my brothers unjustly.  And I will not have them suffer under lies.

By His Grace.

The Surpassing Great Advent of Wickedness

When I was a child I was taught to respect my elders, be kind to everyone, and consider myself last in everything.  This teaching was taught to the extreme.  By the Grace of God, I have developed out of that harsh treatment (to a great extent).

Being taught by Jesus now, I am taught to respect my elders in the faith, be kind to all while keeping in mind that there is a “justice” in the world, and to consider myself the servant to all men.  This teaching is being taught gently with mercy for my ignorance.  By the Grace of God, I am developing into the kind of man we all aspire to become.  (This is not to my account a righteousness.  But it is a gift from God through Jesus.)  Understanding that none of us can fully attain to the Glory that is Christ Jesus, we are encouraged to emulate the truth He allows us to “hear”.

I am shocked, however, to be witness to a new breed of human emerging on the scene.  People I thought would be steady and mature are beginning to adopt lies to themselves.  They hear some accusation against the righteous and run as a herald.  Foaming at the mouth with hatred of all that is pure, they run head long as servants of demons.  This is not the kind of place I was raised in when I was a child.

The very fabric of the world has changed, as if a blanket has developed a mold.  Young people wear disrespect for truth just as the young of past ages wore truth for the simple reason that they were taught that truth endures.  Older people are the most surprising to me of all.  For after living their lives through experience of lies and truth, they now prefer to spout ungodly lies against everything associated with God.  And I am surprised at how willing they are to put on the clothing of liars and demons.

Though I speak of being surprised at these things, there is no reason for my astonishment at the increase of wickedness among men and women.  We have been warned that such things will take place.  And of “increase”, the wicked will continue to mold their souls till the Lord comes to war against them Himself.

“Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.

Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.” (Rev. 22: 11-15)

This warning remains for all men.  Regardless your background, the Lord does not lie.  If you want to be clean seek the Lord Jesus’ mercy.  If you find yourself unable to care, consider this:  The wicked will not find pity before the Holy Throne of the Most High God if they appear without the covering of Jesus’ sacrifice.

Amen!  Even so, Lord Jesus, come.

He Did Not Ask

Pool of Siloam

Pool of Siloam (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

He did not ask.  The question never crossed his mind.   He had never seen red, let alone to consider the subtle difference between red and orange.  Dirt had no color at all.  And, beyond the reach of his fingers, the world was filled with utterly ghostly challenges.  Textured blackness was all he knew.  Noise and smell were the only possible warnings before something unknown drew near.  Living in the night with no light to guide his feet, who had testified the impossible possible?

He did not ask.  He was simply the subject of debate between the Lord Jesus and His disciples.  “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”  How could the man know he had been born blind so that this conversation would find a suitable object for a lesson?

He did not ask.  Why those things had happened that morning; those things which brought him to that square foot of ground at just that moment?  There was no need to question anything.  But something was about to change forever.

He did not ask.  Yet someone plastered mud on the man’s eyes!  Of all the humiliating things he has endured.  Now he was the object of an art class.  Had he known he was to become a model this morning he might have presented a bit of persona different.

He did not ask.  But he was told to go wash in the pool of Siloam.  “So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.”

He did not ask for the reaction from his parents, or the subsequent verbal thrashing from the Jews.  He did not ask to be able to see their faces, nor to be quantified a liar.  And he did not ask that he should be thrown out of the temple that day.

He did not ask to be able to walk by himself in places before forbidden.  But now he did.  I wonder if he struggled to stay awake that night; afraid to close his eyes and see nothing but darkness again.  But surely sleep came, just as it had every night before.

He did not ask.  But the morning brought confirmation to a dream he had last night.  Eyelids flung open as soon as the mind brought him from dreams.  Breath filled his lungs with explosive inhale.  And this without his will.  “It was not a dream!”

He did not ask for time.  Who asks for time to come?  Most of us simply endure the next moment.  Time, however, had a different effect on this man than it does for most.  From that day and for years to come, that man lived in colors, shapes, textures seen, and faces recorded.  But the days and years ticked by without restraint.  I do not think that man ever regarded his eyes as people do who have always seen.  Even as old age came to take away what he did not ask for, there was the beauty of fuzzy objects to enjoy.  In the end death took away the gift.  But what need had he of those amazing little marbles then?

He did not ask.  He had no idea of what was coming.  Brilliance surrounds him now.  Colors, living colors dance through perfect eyes.  He did not ask through all those remaining years.  For who could know what he was about to see, even as death came to take back the colors and shapes.

He did not ask to be an object lesson.  For eternity, however, he will be an object lesson of the majesty of the God who caused him to be born blind.  And we should not doubt that he will enjoy his status in this regard.  What remains within Promise is more lovely than the colors and shapes this man saw without asking.

We did not ask.  For we did not know we were in need.  Wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked we are.  Who has known to ask when there was no question?  “Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”

We did not ask.  But we were born in our own circumstances.  Who asks for mud?  Who craves to be “sent”?   Who has come away from Siloam healed for the Glory of God the Father?  I remember one more time when 10 were sent.  Only one re-appeared to praise God.  And I ask, “Who am I?”

I did not ask.  I did not dare approach, even in prayer.  Just when I thought I would die that Death, He came to deliver me.  And these words, all together in this place of testimony, praise the One who set me free.  This story has testified, there is a freedom yet to come which I cannot ask for.  How can I know what to ask that He hasn’t already prepared beyond my knowledge?  He will forever be first.  And we will forever be those who receive with praise, dedication and thanks.

Billions have not thought to ask.  Yet they received God’s generous gift of eternal life.  Do you dare hope for something you have never thought to ask?  Here you are reading these words.  Do you dare ask for what you do not know?  “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!  Amen.”  Isn’t that what is written?

No one asked.  But He has prepared this place of testing for His own Glory.  “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”   Have you ever thought that the entire world was created for the sake of judgment?  What judgment could provoke all of creation?  Think about it.  And He does not ask too much of us.  For at His return, His reward is in His hand.

“No eye has seen,

No ear has heard,

No mind has conceived

What God has prepared for

Those who love Him”

We did not ask, but:  “God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’”  “God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.”  He has answered even before we were created!

Glory to the One who lives forever!
