Most people I talk to have not thought through the Judgment very well.  By what they say to me, they figure some how to escape.

But I wonder what they would say to the following.

You’re speeding down the road at 92 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone.  A law enforcement officer comes up behind you with his lights on.  Obediently you pull to the side of the road.

As soon as you turn off the engine, 2000 law enforcement officers appear from the tall grass along the road.  While amazement still covers your mind, they completely encircle your car with guns drawn.  Frankly sir, you have nowhere to go.

Do people really think they will stand one on one with the Most High God?  Do you think you will be allowed to banter and barter your way out?

Almost every angel will be summoned to the judgement of man.  You will be encircled on every possible side, with absolutely nowhere to go.

Those who are destined to destruction will have absolutely no choice.  The angels will discompassionately obey the Holy Father’s command.

It is impossible for God to lie.  He has spoken destruction for those who do not love his Holy Son.

This is no opinion.  It is the final and true Word of God.  Those who do not humble themselves before the Most High God, turning from their sinful ways, will receive the promise of destruction.

There’s a lot more to the gospel than just repenting of your sins.  But let this writing set the stage for all the things that need to come next.

What loss does he sustain who enters into full obedience to The Gospel?  Name it.

God.

Manifest God

The fabric of heaven, his hands obediently made.
Every angel created by the love of God made manifest in Jesus.

Every act of building, from eternity to eternity;
The love of God made manifest in Jesus.

Every particle of the universe came to be by His Holy hands of obedience.
The love of God made manifest in Jesus.

Driven from the Glory of God, the father of lies succumbed.
The love of God made manifest in Jesus.

“Let us make man in our image.”
The love of God made manifest in Jesus.

Rebellion found its match, and infinitely more.
The love of God made manifest in Jesus.

So it has been, so it will ever be.
The love of God made manifest in Jesus.

And yet to come, the salvation of We!
The love of God made manifest in Jesus!

A Word of Sobriety

To those who think they can do as they please while they bear the name of Christ.

The Living God will enter your sinful place.  His messengers will come among your putrid house of defiance.  The Lord will know what the people do, and he will surely reward with justice.

Have you listened to the lie?  Have you preferred disobedience over righteous humility?  Then do not be surprised when your house becomes desolate.  For the Lord will surely make an end of rebellion.

But to the diligent who resolve to love him and obey His Holy commands.

Do not fear.  The Lord has seen your heart.  It is for joy that He has given salvation.  Nothing that belongs to the Living God’s Holy Christ can taste destruction.  As the grave itself was not able to hold him, so destruction will not touch those who belong to him.

But the Lord will make a distinction.  He will surely divide the people one from another.  Be wise.  Honor His Holy Name and live.  Remain foolish, and you will surely taste his wrath.

Yes Christ Jesus is the Love of God!  But the love of God is directed to what is righteous and true, faultless and clean.  To this he draws us out of sin, and will accept no other engine.

Be wise and live, remain in sin and die.

1 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”  (Luke 13)

Please Hear This

The Lord reasons with me this morning.  I don’t desire to make anyone feel bad, or compel them to do what they do not find themselves able or willing to do.  But how can I keep this to myself?

How many centuries has our Lord been diligent to save souls?  What great strength of patience and faithfulness has the Lord shown us, as the world rebells against him, and his people so blatantly lack faith?

Then the urgent question comes: Are we, who have received his Great Mercy, unwilling to struggle with him for a few short years?

No one answers to me.  Who am I that I should matter?  But isn’t there One to whom we do answer?  And isn’t the answer found in the doing?

Upheaval

“Stir the pot”, a mundane saying that is more volatile then a nuclear weapon.  The saying has a malicious use.  There are many people who stir the pot of humanity simply for the joy of watching the chaos it produces.  But it also has the sweetest of intent when used properly.

How can I stir the pot of godly things within my soul?  And how can I stir the pot for my brothers of flesh to do the same?  I don’t desire to raise anger to the surface.  I’m trying to lift desire for God from the bottom of the pot to the surface.

As my soul is stired, one of the things that comes floating to the surface is called eternity.  In that nugget of absolutes lays enough concern to consume my entire life.  And as I look at my own unwillingness to obey, I naturally have fear for the sake of my brothers.

For that reason alone, I cannot be silent.  The Living God has spoken, death is the inheritance of every man outside of his Holy Son’s rule.  It is imperative that I let this understanding consume me.  It is imperative that every man do the same.

The day of flesh is quickly coming to an end.  I will not allow it to be said that I did not warn my brothers.
