Getting There!

What creature will we become?

It is not given to man to know.

To be like the Angels;

Our appearance to Glow.

Or to be the fulfillment

Of our bodies “below”.

Strive to find out,

With all you possess.

Break from tradition of sin.

What will you give,

Come that moment unveiled,

That new “body” to win?

“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” (1 Peter 4:18)

Can you see?

One man percieves God as hideous monster; full of Holy law and demanding.  Such a man does not know the law of God, he only knows his own hideous sin.  He attributes what he knows to the Holy One.  “Surely God is like me.  He will strike me with death when I die”.

Explain to him that God is love, and out of the fear that is in his heart, he will nod in agreement.  But there is no agreement in his soul.  He keeps on in his way because he sees no hope of any change.  If God is cruel then he is a dead man, even while he lives, and he knows it.

To another man, God is purely love.  In this man’s mind, God throws His own Righteousness and Holiness aside to embrace the sinner.  The man perceives that his sin will be erased by some miraculous working of God.

But he does not understand his own obligation to do “The Way” of Christ.  He perceives “The Way” is too hard to walk, but he does not consider the power of prayer in Christ Jesus.  This one hungers for acceptance.  He does not hunger for righteousness.

This man thinks he will be granted entry into the perfection of eternity simply because he exists.  Speak to this man of a necessity of holiness and righteousness, and he will count you a fool.

Still another man will perceive that God demands certain rituals from all his worshippers.  This man may have started out in Christianity, by receiving forgiveness for his sins, but he has studied the law of God and has determined to do the law.  This one will add to his worship “a little here and a little there”.  In the end, he becomes far less a Christian then before he began.

Each man holds the perception of God that he has grown to love dearly.  Some hold fear, some hold love, some hold law.  As a man believes so he does.

Each of the above ways is flawed, and will suffer loss.  How very sad, when the answer for wholeness in Christ lay so clearly before us.  If a man will humble himself and pray, God will direct him into what is true.

But men love sin.  Men love pride.  Men love praise.  All three of these, the Holy Most High God abhors.

You can have the perception of God you want.  No one will stop you.  They may try to teach you with all they have, but you will refuse.  You men, as mentioned above, will do as you please regardless the will of God.  The loss is yours.

What more is there to say

That is healthy to say?

What is written here is true.

What would you do?

Curious and Curious

I find it curious, this attraction sin.  People strive so hard to live at peace.  They do not necessarily try to live at peace with one another.  But everyone wants what they want.  And they don’t want to be bothered about keeping it.

What is curious to me is: Peace is only found in making peace with God.  Peace of any other sort is just a temporary bandage on a gaping wound.  So why do people choose to remain his enemy?

I assume they not only want peace, they want the freedom to do as they please.

Hmmmmm.

Alive in Christ

We speak the words of condemnation.

Do you listen?

Can you do what you know is right?

We speak the words of Purest Hope.

Can you perceive?

Can you imagine a life without sin?

Man is not flesh.

He is soul dressed in flesh.

The world knows this.

The soul has understood what the body denies.

Do they not avert their eyes from one another?

The eye is the window to the soul.

And by these tiny balls, one soul can see another.

What if you could live your life without sin?

What if you could drive your flesh according to the will of the soul?

This is not what man does, on his own.

Man allows the things of flesh to direct his soul.

But there is a life, in Christ Jesus, where we learn the inverse.

Mysticism teaches about such things.

They call it an “out-of-body” experience.

They perceive the key, but fail to accomplish.

They know that living in the body cannot produce true life.

They speak of leaving this place to experience “more”.

And they will tell you that man can do this himself.

Christians will tell you that is a lie.

Christians will speak of living an “in body” experience.

Christians will tell you that there is a place,

Where God will grant a man’s soul to be driven by the Holy Spirit of God.

Christians learn to drive the flesh into obedience to what is Holy.

Christians will testify that the body can become slave to the soul’s holy desire.

And Christians will willingly testify that this ability does not come from their own ability.

It is a gift of God in Christ Jesus, the Holy Son of God.

Transformation comes, in time, and the believer becomes the intent of God for man.

All the while Christians learn to obey the Holy Laws of God.

I am not speaking of those who call themselves Christian and go no farther.

I am speaking of those who believe to the “doing of the will of God”.

Can you hear what I am saying?

Is there understanding emerging from your soul?

I am not speaking down to you.

I’m trying to wake you to the truth of our life here.

Men go about providing for the flesh all day long.

But what about the, more important, soul?

Do you yearn to be free from the wicked things you find yourself doing?

You will not be free if you continue to allow your flesh to dictate the day’s doings.

Condemnation abounds against us for such things.

For your flesh desires only the things of this world.

It knows nothing of heavenly things, nor desires it.

And we all, all men, know better.

For we ARE soul.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)

7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.   8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9  “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?   10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?   11  If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” (Matthew 7)

Sin will say to you, “Come and take from me I am delightful and endless variety.  See how my wares fit your desire.

You may say to me, ‘But God has said no.’  I will provoke your faith.  Is God not full of grace and mercy, compassionate understanding and patience?  With God, you may have both he and I.”

Sin says yes to all.  But God says yes, only to himself.  God is law eternally.  My friends, you cannot have both.

“Come!”

There is horror at my feet.  The mercy of God has come to save.  What provokes these words remains unspeakable.  For the provocation is the Holy Spirit of God.

If I could speak what he has done, who among us would understand?  The language of the flesh cannot receive the language of the Spirit.  what God speaks in the moment, takes days to explain.

If I would speak of the horror that lay at my feet, men would perceive.  But to what value?  I would only be speaking of the things men already know.

What I desire to share, the words of men are not sufficient to describe.  Even the desire to have you understand, is beyond our grasp to comprehend.

I speak of the glory of God to save the souls of men.  I speak of how his love and wisdom and strength come upon a man.  I speak of how vastly different is my perception from His.  I speak of He who is Holy.  Yet willing to love those who are not.  For the singular purpose that they too may become holy.

I know there are some in this world who understand.  I know they too have tasted the mercy of God.  I know they too recognize the limits of communication between men in regard to the Holy things of God.

I am at complete lack to describe the horrors of sin.  I am void of means to describe the glory of God.  My words are small, pathetic and horribly lacking.  Still I am compelled to try.

When we reach the throne of God it will be too late to warn.  So this is the place of attempt.  But what warning can be given that has not already been said?  For we speak to the ears of men who cannot understand.

At the throne of God understanding will come.  But what good will that do then?  Today is our only day for salvation.  With all the strength I have, I tell you, “Seek the face of God!”

Look around you at the things you say you own.  On that day you will abhor every single one of them.  In this I am trying with all I know to give strength to the warning of the judgment of God.

Look within you at the things you think are good.  On the day you appear before him you will see what is Good, and abhor the perception you now have.

Please reach deep and find mercy for this message.  I cannot even describe the sincerity behind these words.  I beg you to receive these words.  And I confess, pathetically, this is the best I can give.

The Spirit of God says, “Come!”  Before the door on your life is sealed, come!

What man thinks is pure is nothing but trash.  There is a purity, blazingly other.  I have perceived it by His grace, and horror at my folly consumed me.  Yet I thank him that I have perceived this before I am bound to stand before him.

Woe to man!  For he is of a people of unclean lips and hearts.  The Spirit of God says, “Come”.
