Pondering the meaning of a new year, I come to the striking realization that the majority of people in the world will see 2014 fade into the past with just as much regret as 2013.  Therefore the work of spreading the gospel of Christ retains its urgency.

The coming of a new year is no reason to relax.  Unless of course you don’t care how many are saved because of your witness.  In which case, why bother to witness at all?

Dear Lord Jesus:

“What is the number or the name of a day,  but an altar of stones along The Way.

A place that is set for the honor of You; a love that was lived for the Love that is true.”

2014, what is it but more days to bring glory to our Lord.  A Happy New Year is only found by serving the Lord Jesus.
