It was sewn from dust. And to this dust it will return. This tent of mine which hides glorious riches. Men have held gold to their breast and thought themselves rich. But what is truly rich evades their fingers. Like the monkey who clasped his hand around the morsel in the jar, they will never grasp what’s true. They hold dear the things of perception. But they can never perceive what is dear.

Who am I that my words should be known?
My words are mine alone.
I prattle like a lonely maid
as solitude fills my soul.
Yet if I speak of He who IS
And keep my mind on places His,
My lips add dew to healing’s pool.
Not one exists to fill the role
Of grand acclaim as He.
And every word which fills the heart
Finds source from none of we.
Are we interested in truth? Or are we interested in being right? A person who is interested in truth has already dealt with the issue of pride. The person who is proud is not interested in truth. For when truth is presented by another, the proud person considers their words evil. The humble person will take words of truth regardless the source.

The fly buzzes my head. And he gives no thought that he is irritating me to violence. He does not notice as my hand reaches for the fly swatter. And he takes no notice of how I have dressed myself in patience for his destruction. I will wait for him to lite in a place of my convenience. Then I will unleash his end. What was tethered in patience will become a lightning end.
So it is with the wicked against the Lord. They give no thought of how irritating they are becoming to the Lord. They do not notice how their lives are headed toward a place the Lord has established, the place of their destruction. They speak and rail against Him while they take no notice of how He is dressed in an eternal patience. They are the ones who count the minutes. The Lord only counts for the sake of those who number, for eternity has no number of days. He waits for them to lay down in the dirt; their days spent in rebellion and hatred for His Righteousness. And then, He unleashes His perfect and Righteous Judgment upon the wicked.

In the present world we are highly discouraged from speaking about God’s things. Do you think this is something new to the world? Point to a place (since the fall of Adam) where man was encouraged to speak of the Lord. Want to live a life worth living? Proclaim the truths of the Lord at every possible place. I promise you something: The more you proclaim, the less you’ll be asked to speak. So don’t worry about being shunned. It will happen either here or in heaven.

We all struggle to become something. Some gather to themselves everything they can lay their grubby little hands on; cash, fame, power, a place in society or family, wisdom, godliness (or the lack thereof), and the like. But at the end of our gathering we realize something grand and fearsome. Truth is.
Truth is not something we become. We’re either in it or we’re not in it. Regardless how we work to accomplish what we wish to be, we’ll always find ourselves in a “becoming” stage. But truth is not like that. It was, is, and will be absolute and complete. This ponderous realization has given me pause to consider the greatness of God and His desire for all men to seek and find His truth.
Consider one petal of a flower. Look at it’s beauty and count them. Now multiply your count and consideration to include every flower petal in the world, and that from the time of creation. Truth is. God is. Righteousness of God remains.
